Oh so what? It may not be true in Corning’s case, but somewhere at some time a plant closed and moved to China. And since Bush is a lame duck, it’s all John McCain’s fault. Therefore the ad is perfectly fine./s

i've been to that plant several times in the 80's and she's right... Corning is now only making glass for LCD, tv no more panels and funnels for crt's

These large new LCD and Plasma TV's are energy hogs and are contributing to global warming. We should outlaw them and go back to CRTs. Then Corning can get tax breaks for creating "green jobs."

My Friend’s father was laid off by Corning Glass in Albion Michigan when they relocated the plant to Australia some 30 odd years ago. I have no love for McCain but I doubt he had anything to do with my friend’s dad losing his job.
