Well, the Left (read: MSM), are up in arms over the film’s distribution, calling it “right-wing propaganda.” Here’s another great example of how deep in the can the MSM is for the Left. Greg Mitchell – the author of the hit-piece I posted above - is also a “blogger” at Huffington Post, and posted a self-congratulatory piece here that praises a “brave newspaper” – Greensboro News & Record – for refusing to package the so-called “divisive” film. Other than the fact that that the Editor and Publisher is clearly a lefty-flack publication, the ignorance of the Left on the importance and relevance of radical Islamic terror is shockingly clear here.
Apt to point to the film as merely a propagandist piece that “makes it easier for the McCain/Palin ticket to pitch a ‘trigger-happy’ foreign policy,” the Left seems to have forgotten the events of the last 7 years. Obsession doesn’t mention any political party, features neither Obama nor McCain, and points to only the Muslim extremists – not all followers of the Islamic faith – as the ones who want to end the West through violence and hateful acts. Yet the Left immediately casts the film as Republican propaganda. Surprising? No, but quite sad. It’s sad that any film that discusses the terrorist threat, whether even-handed or not, is slotted in the “right-wing talking points” and “scare tactics” column by the MSM. Who’s really in denial here?

They were talking about this on a local radio show here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I guess they went out in Sundays Grand Rapids Press. Some call in lefties were furious because they didn’t like that people were being reminded of terrorism so close to the election!
Free speech is becoming more and more a thorn in the sides of the left and the MSM. If Obama wins, I expect they’ll get right to work on closing the ‘free speech’ loophole.
The libs are in deep denial. If they keep their heads in the sand long enough, they'll suffocate.
Yet the MSM and Democrats bury their head in the sand and refuse to believe them, even after 9/11 and all the other attacks.
They tell us they want to kill us and they follow up on their promises. At least their honest unlike the Democrats.
BTW the film went out of its way not to implicate Islam the religion and go on to say the vast majority of Muslims do not agree with the “jihad” mentality of the militants.
A lefty employee was ranting about the Anti-Muslim hate speech in the paper and how he knows people who have canceled subscriptions over the insert in the Milwaukee paper.
Who knew that a little truth in the paper would evoke such emotions among free speech, facts and figures rationalist liberals in Brewtopia.
Got mine on Sunday in the Columbus (OH) dispatch. Haven’t watched it yet....
Strangely enough, this DVD was not distributed with newspapers in Massachusetts...
My mom received one in the mail. She missed it when it aired on TV so now she’ll have a copy for life. Needless to say, she is happy.

OPINION: I hope you find these articles as interesting as I did. I am always amazed that there are so many Americans who do not understand that the GLOBAL JIHAD is just that — global. If one spins their globe at home or school; one can easily see that the U.S.A. is part of this world. There is no exclusion. We are not set apart from the global jihad; nor are we set apart from the GWOT.
