Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner... issued a memo to county elections boards saying the forms cannot be accepted if a box is not checked next to a statement that the voter is a qualified elector, as the law requires. She wants a letter sent to those voters along with the state's application form so they can reapply. But Bennett issued a statement Tuesday, arguing that the law does not require that a box be checked on McCain's form as long as the voter signs it. He wants counties to ignore Brunner's memo. "This is a blatant attempt by the secretary of state to disenfranchise thousands of Republican voters," Bennett said. "Jennifer Brunner is asking election officials to deny these legally qualified voters their right to access a ballot, and she's manipulating the law to do it." ...Application forms for absentee ballots that Franklin County sent to all voters with pre-paid return postage has an affirmation statement above a signature line to satisfy the law.

When she reports all ballots sent in by ACORN have been disqualified, I’ll believe she’s following the “letter of the law”.

I would have this miscarriage of justice on every TV screen several times a day saying to the voters “DO NOT LET THE DEMONCRAT SECRETARY OF STATE TAKE WAY YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE”
BTW; This is the same kinds of intimidation that Obama is known for pulling against other candidates in Chicago elections.
