CNN is little more than the Talking Point Division of the Democrat National Committee. The "news" from CNN is total fiction when it comes to honest political reporting.

I believe John Roberts is the empty suit that Laura Ingraham always laughs about. She used to work with the guy at some newsroom. He’s just another blow-dry who’s in way over his hair.
OF COURSE he’s a rat. He’s at CNN.
To: LimaLimaMikeFoxtrot
I thought Goodenow was objective and that funny guy with the little mustache....Bill something on weekends
I watched it from the beginning....including the husband wife team (can't recall names)
I could tell beady eyed Bobbie was a femmie and Bernie was left but not too rabid
in my youth (old old media) even known lefties like Walter were a bit toned down (his Vietnam admission was uncommon), nothing like Olbermann or Cooper or that prick Aaron Brown was.
I mean Mudd, Eric, Chet and David....man you never knew where they were...as a lefty youth hell I thought they were the establishment conservative...imagine that.

How did this moron make it to the news desk? It's CNN; their standards are low.

How did this moron make it to the news desk? Because his dad is a big deal somewhere. Same with Anderson Cooper, same with a lot of prominent people's sons and daughters. The begin in media and some stay there.

Unless his dad being a big deal in Canada somehow helps him, it looks like that might not be true. According to his Wikipedia profile, Roberts didn't even start working in the US until he was already in his 30's.

Independent journalism is dead.
Thank GOD for the internet for without it all we’d have is liars and shills.
Any respect I ever had for news reporters has gone down the toilet.
This election is going to hurry the demise of journalism as we know it cause who wants slanted and biased reporting?

He was working at City TV in Toronto as a VJ during the 80s. I've heard that his dad or family is of some importance and City is known for hiring kids from distinguished and prominent families, e.g., Avis Lewis (Stephen Lewis’ son, also married to Naomi Klein), Daniel Richler (Mordecai Richler’s son), etc.
