Michael Yon - Live Conference Call on BlogTalkRadio 9/14/2008-23:00 to 9/15/2008-01:00 EDT
Pat Dollard has arranged for Michael Yon to join him on BlogTalkRadio tonight.
Mr. Yon is one of the more fearless journalists working wherever our Troops may land, and he reports ALL of the truth -- warts and all. You can reach Mr. Yon's site above with the link in his "Legacy" poster.
Here's what Pat Dollard has listed in his BTR page:
Live from Afghanistan, tonight's special guest is the greatest journalist of the Iraq war, the legendary Michael Yon. As to be expected, Michael has spent much time up close and personal with the entire span of the information chain in the Afghan war, from the higher levels of U.S. command, to the Afghan people, to the grunts out in front getting up close and personal with our highly enlightened and noble enemy the, uh, Taliban, (They won't let me print how I'd actually like to describe them, so refusing to half-arse it, I'll just stick with irony in a bag of sarcasm.) As much as I am a gigantic fan of Michael's I think it's only right that he spends another 43 days in Afghanistan, cranking out a minimum of 6 typically unparalleled dispatches before he can legitimately be called the greatest journalist of the Afghanistan war. You start giving these awards out too sloppily and they lose their meaning. But my money's still on him.
You can join in the Chat and call in -- go to BTR - Heading Right and "Create Account" or "Login" to join the festivities. This should be a very informative and fact-filled couple of hours.
You can listen to the Archive of this show at Pat Dollard with Michael Yon -- Mike phones in at around 13:50 on the slider, and it runs for over 100 minutes. I've got it running again in the background now.
