Sarah Palin could've been an actress, and it's driving Hollywood crazy.
Her confidence, stage-presence and feisty wit are everything people admire in a good actor.
But Hollywood is petrified, much less embracing.
Why?
What if Palin's story was about a liberal mom rising from mayor to governor to candidate for vice president?
We can only guess what actors like Matt Damon would say, something like: "Her story inspired me to write a screenplay based on a total outsider, with a fire in her belly, taking on Washington."
One problem. Palin is a strong conservative. (Sound of car brakes squealing).
So instead, Damon dismisses her life story as a "bad Disney movie."
What's scarier to Hollywood is maybe it's because of her conservative beliefs, not in spite of them, that she rose to the top.
Maybe her ability to be a strong woman without alienating men is why she has the highest approval rating of any governor in America.
Maybe her support for rights of the unborn is why she's helping her daughter take responsibility for her actions, while embracing her own newborn child some would have aborted.
Actress Pamela Anderson also spoke out about Palin.
Again, we try to imagine what Anderson might have said if Palin were a liberal, something like, "I don't know how she does it, five kids, governor, family drama, and yet she still pulls it together so nicely!"
Instead, Anderson's Hollywood-inspired commentary of Palin was: "She can suck it."
While actors like Damon, and to a lesser extend Anderson, are decent at playing make-believe in front of a camera, this does not give them any more credibility than real working people.
But they have louder voices, because the public is fascinated by fame.
This is all fine, but do they have to appear so angry?
Relax, Hollywood. Take a chill pill, you can allow one conservative out there to have camera-friendly charisma.
It may take awhile for them to accept her, or they may never accept her; much like another conservative candidate who had stage-presence: Ronald Reagan.
Of course, the liberals biggest attack against Reagan was that "He's just an actor."
<< Of course, the liberals biggest attack against Reagan was that “He’s just an actor.” >>
The irony of that has always made me giggle.
I work in the music industry. Most of these entertainer types NEVER know what REAL life is. EVERYTHING is wrapped up in what’s ‘in’, ‘hip’ or ‘now’. And to fulfill current desires. This sort of lifestyle does not permit a person to wade very deep in life. And so they get their news on the fly they do what’s hip, they talk without doing any homework. It’s hip to hate Republicans, evangelicals and conservatives. They despise ‘chumps’ who get up early and go to work everyday. This is the truth. They really have no clue.
Excellent! I'm glad we have people on our side who don't suffer from short or long-term memory loss. They're our "institutional memory".

Personally, I hope these Hollyweird morons keep talking about Palin and McCain. The more these idiots keep spouting swill out of their pie holes, the more they show, to the general public, what ignorant buffoons they really are. And the more people will support the GOP ticket.
These idiots mistakenly believe that most people agree with them when, if act, the majority of Americans find them loathsome.
All you have to do is see how now everybody is blasting ‘Daddy Yankee’ for publicly endorsing McCain.
Truth > Envy
Morality > Shame
Reality > Cognitive dissonance
God > Rejection
They hate her because she embodies the values they abhor.
“Anderson’s Hollywood-inspired commentary of Palin was: “She can suck it.”
_________
Well, Pam put her “foot” in her mouth.
I hear there’s proof Pam can do the same.
Because she seems normal and doesn't buy into the libs humanistic ways.
They abhor being reminded of the RIGHT values. They are human, they know what’s right and what’s wrong,
and they don’t want to be reminded which side they’re on.
Pamela Anderson has put more than a foot in her mouth at one time or another and there is a tape to prove it.
The fact that Pam didn’t think about that before she commented on Palin kinda shows her...limitations.

When Ms. Anderson speaks of sucking, she knows whereof she speaks.
“They despise chumps who get up early and go to work everyday. This is the truth. They really have no clue.”
Bingo!
You get up every morning
From your alarm clock’s warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There’s a whistle up above
And people pushin’, people shovin’
And the girls who try to look pretty
And if your train’s on time
You can get to work by nine
And start your slaving job to get your pay
If you ever get annoyed
Look at me I’m self-employed
I love to work at nothing all day
