So, what is Governor Huckabee doing about this ruling by his AG? He used to support this, but then he ran for President and signed a pledge that he would oppose this.

Now that he didn’t win, is he reverting, or is he still fighting?

There’s not much he can do. Mike Huckabee hasn’t been the governor of Arkansas since 2006 when he reached his term limit.

Mike Beebe, a Dem, is the governor of Arkansas.

Huckabee was term limited last election. In some ways all for the better[tax and spender social liberal]. New gov and statewide newspaper believes all children should be able to get an education no matter their circumstances. As a rightwinger myself I’m torn between the two positions. Arkansas is a conservative state in Presidential elections only.
