The time has come to declare whom I will be voting for.
When I made my decision four years ago and supported the re-election of George W. Bush, I said at the time the overwhelming issue for me was international Islamic terrorism, including al-Qaida.
The goal of Islamic terrorists was, and still is, to re-establish the caliphate encompassing most of the Muslims living in a host of nations from Spain to Indonesia and placing them under a single religious leader with full authority over the civil affairs of the countries, in the style of Iran.
That goal includes the deaths or forced conversions of Christians and Jews as infidels, or the payment by them of tribute, and the elimination of the state of Israel.
In 2004, I concluded that the one person running for president who understood that danger best and was prepared to fight it and defend America and its allies was George W. Bush. Even though he is now at a low ebb in popularity, I have no regrets for having campaigned and voted for him.

who is this guy
Koch, Koch... that name sounds vaguely familiar. Wasn’t he a character in some 70s TV show?
I think even Ed will come back to his sense on this one.
He used to be the Mayor of New York City. He’s seen better days.
He used to do people’s court
Koch is hedging his bets. He knows Obama is toast, but want to be sure to still get invites to all of the A-List cocktail parties after November 4.
Does anyone sit back and say, “Wow, Ed just endorsed Obama, and that seals the deal for me!!!”????
Ed’s endorsement might’ve made a difference in the primaries, but no one expects ole Ed to do anything but punch a straight ticket.
Are you being facetious about Ed Koch (”who is this guy?”)
If you are not because you are a yungun, he is a former NYC mayor, Democrat, who was independent enough to endorse in previous elections those who wanted to fight Islamofacism, including Bush.
And if you were just kidding, “who is this guy?” was just for fun, then my apologies. I didn’t see an /s tag.
But after the Piggy remark, perhaps Koch wants to reconsider.
Well, Ed, I'm truly sorry that Alzheimer's disease has apparently begin to set in to a once bright mind, but now that the war against Islamofacist seems to be won for the time being, I guess you can go back to the lieberal default position of supporting Miranda rights for terrorists, the right of fudgepackers to force their views of matrimony on the 96% of society which is normal and the absolute right of women to butcher their unborn or recently born at anytime and for any reason.
It looks like Ed has got the Tingle.
Ed is old ... the media properly ought to talk with his guardian.
You can’t dangle a lithe young man in front of Ed Koch and expect him to endorse John McCain instead. He’s not made of stone.
For the most part Koch went totally off the reservation for Dubya and was very supportive.
He’s just going back to the fold, maybe wants to get back into the party set, but they’ll never let him back in.
Pssssst, good bet BooyahPower was in jest ....

“..I said at the time the overwhelming issue for me was international Islamic terrorism, including al-Qaida.”
So now he is going to vote for a Muslim.
I get it — Ed Koch favors Obama because he is a member of the ROP which is totally divorced from Islamic terrorism.
This actually surprises me. He had shown some signs of sanity in recent years.
He is an older gentleman who is passing gas to fill Barry's empty suit.
