Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

Biden’s comments earlier in the day let me know that they’ve crafted counter language around the “lipstick” comment because Palin’s received much good publicity from her lipstick comment. This isn’t a slip of tongue moment.
I think we can say now Obama is practicing
PERSONAL DESTRUCTION OF WOMEN!
He did it to Hillary and now he’s doing it to Palin.

The audience, which had a particularly strong reaction whenever Obama mentioned Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, appeared to enjoy the “lipstick” comment the most.
When Palin gave her acceptance speech at the Republican convention in St. Paul she joked about being a hockey mom, saying the only difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom was lipstick.

If she shows herself as supporting this type of barnyard billingsgate, then she is writing the final chapter on her career as a politician.
I still find it incredible that anyone would have ever lauded Senator "Coke-head" Obama as anything other than a bungler. He has now more true blunders than any politician at a national level.
