What about the September expiration of the ban against off shore drilling---has that occurred?

What about the RINOs who wanted to compromise on drilling strategy with the dems--are they gone, or what?

SARAH ( Glen was talking to a friend of Sarah and asked him if Todd was jealous of how so many think his wife is hot? She said no, she is called the Hottest Governor in the coldest state. )

Both sides are probably eager to pass something, anything. The republicans must be even more eager because they have by far the most seats up for grabs in the Senate this year.

Much like most of what has been passed the last ten years it will be a bloated, unwieldy monster tome of legislation so that each side can point to some part or the other and say “we passed this for (insert special interest group here)”.

In reality they will open up some areas for drilling, let other leases expire and close, add more environmental impact regulations and pledge even more subsidies for alternative energies that aren’t efficient enough to be profitable on their own.

Business as usual in the beltway, a trillion dollar monopoly game with an unlimited bank . . . us.

I wondered where Kraut's mind had drifted to. Both McCain and Palin mentioned energy, jobs and lifting the economy.

The Dems mantra that drilling will not do any good for 10 years is a crock. It will make immediate job creation--good paying jobs.

If I were a young, healthy, ambitious man, I would head for Alaska. You can still get free land and their jobs are hard but pay well.
