John Bitney left (was fired) from his job under Sarah Palin on the eve of Sarah's new ethics law:

If she thought Sarah was the reason for the divorce, it’s unlikely she’d date a former legislative aide of Sarah. And I see his name is not Scott McLellan.

If Sarah Palin was named in the divorce decree as the reason for the dissolution of the marriage, wouldn't she have been called to testify in the hearing?

I remember when I filed for divorce from my ex-husband, my lawyer recommended not using adultery as a grounds for divorce because I would have had to provide details, dates, etc. It would have been my responsibility to prove the case. I think if this divorce was a knock-down, drag-out fight, and Palin was in the middle of it, I highly doubt that her involvement would have been kept a big secret.

Well, clearly Trig is not Todd’s son. The Daily Pos proved it with comparative pictures of their eyelids. Is the business partner Asian, by any chance?

Now, that’s just funny. Stop the presses...we found a DS child with slanting eyes. I smell a setup by a FReeper...fess up...who playing with their play dough.

My guess is he figured the media would look through his private matters and publish the details in hopes of hurting Sarahcuda.

There appear to be children involved in this too. I suspect that he’s protecting them also. At least I hope so!

"Why would he suddenly want them sealed?"

Because it's nobody's business. If you got divorced, would you want your business uncovered in every paper, TV station, and tabloid magazine, in the United States and overseas? Obviously the guy never thought his divorce records would ever be of interest to the world. So when all this crap started being spread, he tried to protect his privacy as best as he could.

If the Obama/media complex wants to get down and dirty, I say bring on the 527s with Wright and Ayers.

Hope I'm not whistling past the graveyard, though. Boy would it suck big time if this story had legs, which I pray it doesn't.

I also pray that it is not true.

But here's a puzzler: Does this mean that Christians, and their families, are to never have stumbled or sinned? Last weekend it was the hoopla about Mrs. Palin's daughter. Mrs. Palin had to drop out because her daughter stumbled. Now its some sin that may, or may not have happened, several years ago... Sin is not to be celebrated -- but the way this sludge is being sought and dredged up -- there is no one in the history of mankind who is qualified to be a Christian... But in a way, I suppose that IS true. We are not qualified, but there is one who IS. And it is IN HIM we must reside -- because our own 'good works' are nothing but filthy rags.

These events breathlessly reported by the harpies from hell tell me more about the Media, and those trying to take Mrs. Palin out, than it does about her. I'll take it at face value that she, or a family member, may have stumbled in the past...
Good that the media considers this scurrilous scandal seeking as 'vetting'. We certainly know having personal ties with unrepentant terrorists (aka, Weatherman Ayers), 20 year relationships with racist 'churches', aren't worthy of 'vetting' by our esteemed Media folks (they prefer to be investigating our sewage - rather than relationships that might actually reveal the character of the person) ... A pox on their houses.

"It is an absolutely straightforward, agreed divorce."

If, as your review indicates, it was an uncontested, agreed divorce, then the entire matter should be a non-issue.

Of course, if the drive-by media (aka MSM) has somehow gotten to the business partner's wife and managed to extract from her statements of an unflattering nature suggesting (however untrue that may be) that Palin may have had something to do with the divorce, then you can lay money that Rat operatives, liberal pundits, and the drive-bys will jump on it like a chicken on a junebug. Never mind that any all such suggestions may be patentl;y false, every effort will be made to mount and keep alive the most destructive whispering campaign possible.

"Jack Ryans divorce records are THE reason Obama is where he is today."

And it wasn't just Ryan. Obama knocked Democrat multimillionaire Hull (I forgot his first name) out of the primary by opening his divorce records and then knocked out Ryan the same way in the General. Believe me, the Axelrod/Obama team is nasty, nasty, nasty.

IF there is anything there, why haven’t we heard from the ex-wife?

This is part of the drip, drip, drip the media will do from now until the election. Expect stories like this to dominate the news on Thursdays so they get the weekend coverage and die on Monday, when nobody is paying attention.
No matter how wrong and obscene, they’ll make every effort to propagate a negative feeling about Palin.

They have their marching orders from Dear Leader.

Good now let’s hope that while the reporters are there camped out waiting for it to be public that it suddenly gets very cold and damp which can happen quickly this time of year n Alaska. ;)
