“I am sure she has the exact same view on Immigration as John McCain.”

You’re ‘sure’ of that, are you? Why? Or is it just wishful thinking on your part?

If so, she loses me and a bunch of people she got last night and McCain hasn’t learned zip.

Well, whatever they are it’s hard to imagine they are worse than the opposition.

Sadly, it's an issue the grassroots are going to have to deal with. And the most important thing is to get someone who will appoint GOOD judges and to elect congressmembers who understand about sovereignty. susie

They appear to be the fastest growing demographic everywhere. Well, except in Mexico.

Seen this one?

I keep getting the stinking suspicion McCain is going to back stab us. I pray Sarah won't follow suit.

He may. The problem is, where are you going to go? Obama is the only other viable candidate. Is his policy better? I don’t like being between a rock and a hard place, but that’s where we may well be. I think the battle will be fought in congress and the courts anyway, not that it wouldn’t help to have a CIC who was on our side, but I don’t see anyone on the horizon unless McCain has really changed his opinion on the subject.

You’re right. No matter what McCain says tonight, he’ll need to run it by us before it becomes official.

I am sure she has the exact same view on Immigration as John McCain.

And people snap at me for not being in her rah-rah corner....

It's Ok, they've snapped at me, too. We'll try to do our best to carry on sans Kool-aid.

The reality of the situation is that no matter Palin’s view on immigration, the only view that matters is that of John McCain.

And for some reason, I cannot quite place my finger on it, immigration seems to be the forgotten issue at this year’s GOP Convention.

Barack and McShamnesty are on the same page...no need to challenge each other on the issue. I’d say it was still up to us to call him out on it, but meantime, McShamnesty finds a way (Sarah) to divert attention, leaving him free to move as far left as needed. Sounds like a lot of people are counting on Sarah for things in McShamnesty’s ‘control’, so to speak. We aren’t electing her, we’re electing him. And I’ll say it again...McCain is no different today than he was the day before Sarah, but his ploy has worked.

Are they coming by land or sea? Either way, that is one heck of a long journey.
