Wow, Wow, a Thousand Times Wow

What did we see tonight?

Tonight, we either saw a watershed in American politics, a tour de force, the most striking and graceful debut in our nation’s political life, and a national introduction that makes Barack Obama’s 2004 convention address look like small potatoes… or we saw what we wanted to see, and the country’s persuadable independents saw something else. I’m afraid to believe. If I’m wrong, I don’t really know what Americans want. I know conservatives are thrilled to pieces, and they ought to be. She knocked it out of the park. I don’t think she could have delivered that speech any better. Even if I hadn’t suggested a line, I would say that the speech hit almost every note just right. (Did the Obama fans feel this way? Is this what their exultation feels like? Wonderful. I’m glad they get to experience it too.)

My e-mail box is thrilled. Cam's Talkbackers are thrilled — "you called down the thunder, and now ya have it."

I haven’t felt this way about a candidate since Ronald Reagan. Wow, just wow.

McCain better be praying for God to be speaking from his (McCain’s) lips. A tough act to follow.

Youbetcha.

Think Ronald Reagan 1964. You were there at the birth of the One WE have been waiting for.

Good speech. Hit many very good points.

But she needs practice for the "long haul" -- it seemed a bit sing-song somewhere past the middle. That's the WORST I can say and she did one heck of a great job!! I didn't see everything that has the Left-Stream-Media screaming in fear, but this was good enough. She'll grow into the position in short order.

With a smile on her face she took Obama/Biden to the woodshed again, and again, and again.

One more test to go. If she can do to Biden in debate what she did in her speech—Biden is toast.

Just effing “Wow”.

I was always going to vote for McCain. What this speech did was transform a tactical vote (to keep Obama out) into a strategic one (to position Palin for her own Presidential campaign in 2012 or ‘16).

I’m afraid to believe.

Believe.

She was magnificent, and this will be the moment when history records the 2008 campaign turned.

All of the worrying and frustration I have had for the past few days is suddenly gone. I can honestly say that was the best speech I have ever heard from a politician!

It was brilliant!!!!

We saw a woman who will be finishing her second term in the Oval Office the year her first grandchild (yet unborn) is getting his drivers license.

Palin is the new Reagan. I can’t recall seeing a better political speech, ever. The Dems are probably in a pissing their pants in a panic. She will wipe up the floor with Biden and clean NoBama’s clock. I liked Chris Wallace’s analogy from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”: Who is that Woman?!

She did not knock it out of the park.

She knocked it over the moon.

Now we all know exactly why the Dims and their corrupt MSM lapdogs have been so afraid since McCain selected Sarah Palin as VP. Now we know what the recent media brouhaha has been about.
