I could tell how biased they are just in their much poorer coverage and much harsher criticism of the RNC convention compared to the DNC convention. It is night and day, and for them to claim unbiased objectivity is SO laughable. You do a split screen and compare the analysis sections and the contrast is incredibly clear.

Peggy became disenchanted with Bush years ago and turned against all things reasonable. I remember ready a piece which she wrote during a trip (I think to Paris) in which she waxed poetic and sounded like she had a screw loose.

They are both clearing quivering RINOs wanting someone in the model of Whitman in NJ (Murphy emphasizes how he comes out of the “blue state world”) who are looking only at how to get someone who can sit in the middle of the political spectrum. Agreed, I lost respect for her a long time ago — talk about someone focused on “narrative” .... she always thinks that writing histrionic columns in her flights-of-fancy style is more important than focusing in upon facts, issues, ideas and principles. To her the “story” she can spin is everything. She had some good moments in the ‘80s but she is essentially a very shallow person who happens sometimes to lean toward our side, sometimes now. But I have not trusted her in ages.....
