I don’t know why you want to give leftist news outlets hits, let their polls be completely lopsided and irrelevant.

Obama doesn't deserve to be leader of free world

************************EXCERPT*************************

Issue date: 8/28/08 Section: Opinion

Editor,

I believe there was some validity in Daniel Martinez's statements about Barack Obama having "shady associations." In Monday's letter, Martinez claimed, "You don't hang out with people for 20 years that hate America and not share their views." He was referring to the fact that Obama was an active member of Jeremiah Wright's congregation for 20 years. I saw a recent Fox News report in which Wright overtly blasphemed against America by angrily shouting, "God damn America!"

According to abcnews.com, "Obama has, in the past, been friendly with William Ayers, a Chicago law professor who to this day remains unrepentant about his work with the violent Weather Underground group in the 1960s and '70s."

Obama is a highly controversial figure that does not deserve to be the leader of the free world. Clearly Obama has or had associations with people that only want to hurt America. Is this the kind of person America wants as its next president? When has Obama ever served America in the Armed Forces like John McCain has?

Even though McCain has plans to promote America's military presence in the Middle East, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice reached a preliminary agreement with the Iraqi prime minister to withdraw our American troops from Iraq by June 2009. I favor McCain over Obama because he is anti-abortion and will invest in alternative forms of energy, and I think McCain will restore America's economy to its former glory by lowering taxes and tapping into America's natural oil reserves. McCain is the lesser of two political evils.
