Like most here, I am really pissed off at the left for what they are doing to the Palin family. I knew they were going to be nasty, but this shocked even me, and I'm a long veteran of political battles. What bothers me the most though is that we are sitting here for the most part and taking it.

I thought hard about this, cooled off and decided that it's time for us to quit bitching and get even, and fight dirty if needed. The Obama team brought this in. It might not have been Obama himself since he likes to do a good cop/bad cop thing with Axelrod, but the kos people did the job for them.

Our friends at redstate finally had enough and outted the blogger on Kos who went after the family of Sarah Palin. While candidates take their hits, that is only one aspect of this war we are in, and I do mean war, with the left in this country.

This is the internet. Most people have a short memory. The internet has a long memory. There is a whole dossier on our enemies that can be found here alone. The FEC and newsmeat list political donations of these "lifelong republicans." Many state sites list other political donations. Old news stories are there in the archives. If they were in court, that's also a public record.

Most of us know this, and have used this against Obama and Biden. That's only part of our enemy though. Elected officials have big funders. Those people should be fair game. George Soros is a convicted criminal. Who is David Axelrod? That name should be known as he's Obama's kingmaker. David Plouffe. Penny Pritzker. Robert Gibbs. Those people need to be vetted and if there is legitamate dirt on them, exposed. Truth is a defense to libel. Make sure it is truth, however. The kos and others that do this trash need to be outted. Nothing is anyonomous.

The media needs to be attacked. The advertisers are a good target to start. Email (nicely, but firmly) the editors and tell them this is beyond the pale, and they need to cease or desist immediately. Write individual letters and emails to them. Do not use a form letter. They go into the circular file. If they do not confirm, I'm sure the editors and reporters like their privacy that they don't give others if you catch my drift.

Last but not least the big prize is the election. The dems will have their union thugs ready and we need to be ready as well. Everyone here should take election day off if possible, get an absentee ballot to vote, and go poll watching. Contact your local Republican Party and find out the requirements in your area to make sure we have a clean election.

We get even by winning. We get even by scaring the enemy so they think twice before running their hit parades. We get even by sending their so called messiah back to Hyde Park. We get even by making their benefactors poison to be around like Jack Abramoff is to the right. We start now.

And then there is Kos himself - Markos Moulitsas Zúñiga (or sometimes just Markos Moulitsas) He lives in Berkeley, and went to Northern Illinois and Boston University Law school. Much as FR is JimRob's house, Kos is Daily Kos's house and he chose to let that stuff on there. I'd like for it to be poison to see any candidate associated with Kos. Most people outside of politics do not know them. That needs to change.

I believe the conservative pundits need to step up also. Some hit with pillows because they never know when they might need to interview a MSM or garden loon for something down the road. They should drop all pretense and hit hard...Bennett should have walked off the set yesterday. Ingraham mentioned Andrea Mitchell as a friend recently (among others) and went light on the Saddleback rumor regarding McCain getting the questions early. She should have hammered Mitchell!! I’m calling them out including the tv guys.

I am watching CNN because it is like rubber-necking a car wreck. The nut have truly taken over the Left and the MSM. I suspect the old-line dims are upset to see their party run by nuts. I have very low expectations of the MSM, but nevertheless was incensed by the new lows plumbed by CBS Radio news tonight - chump coverage of both the RNC convention and especially Bob Schieffer comparing Palin to the McGovern-Eagleton debacle in ‘72, darkly hinting that one more damaging revelation is all that the Palin nomination can withstand.

Memo to Shieffer: you are clueless. Keep piling on - it just makes us madder and more resolute (and more likely to contribute more $$$).
