Senator Joseph Lieberman claims he is an independent Democrat; I claim he is neither a Democrat nor an independent. He is an Israeli Senator in the US Senate. He has always voted against the interest of Arabs and Muslims; he has always voted in favor of Israel, even when it was occupying, killing and carrying out a Nazi-like terrorist policy.
Lieberman is not one of this kind. There are thousands others who have turned the US, a leading nation in human rights and a beacon for democracy and freedom, into the most hated country in the world. Even the Europeans said in a well-known poll that the US poses a bigger danger to peace than Iran and North Korea.
I can only be brief. So I chose Lieberman today as an example for Israeli apologists in the US. I will proceed tomorrow with the two extremists, Norman Podhoretz and John Bolton, sticking to what interests us as citizens in the Middle East.
As a reminder, Lieberman ran for VP in 2000 and lost. He supported every war before and after the candidacy, even though the Democratic Party is centrist and liberal. Lieberman is just that in domestic affairs, from social care to abortion. However, he is so hawkish on the foreign policy front that his party cast him out and nominated Lamont for Senate in 2006. Lieberman won as an independent candidate, with the support of 70 percent of the Republicans in Connecticut and just 33 percent of Democrats. During that campaign, he attacked his opponent, as I remember, because he did not support Israel enough.
I finally found myself agreeing with Lieberman on one thing: he wants to run for VP along with John McCain. However, he does not announce it publicly. There are some from the evil gang who support his candidacy. If he teams up with McCain in the race to the White House, they will lose not only because they are old and extremist, but also because one is hotheaded and the other opportunistic.
I write on the weekend. By the time this article is published, McCain may have chosen his running mate. Among the suggested names, I came across Republican Congressman Eric Cantor. He is of the same ilk as Lieberman. To them, the US defense of Israel is a religious duty. In a conference of Christians United for Israel, Lieberman said that the Founding Fathers would support America fighting Israel's wars. As for Cantor, he said, "What befalls Jerusalem threaten the security of the United States and its allies worldwide."
This may be madness. But it is the announced US policy of influential politicians who have much power on the presumptive Republican presidential candidate. The latter is an extremist and a warmonger par excellence; he has a military solution to every problem.
Barack Obama favors negotiations, while keeping the military option on the table - a stance described as defeatist by the war gang. Members of this gang have promoted the idea that Obama has altered his position on withdrawing from Iraq in 16 months. To this, the Democratic candidate replied, "We're going to try this again. Apparently I wasn't clear enough this morning on my position with respect to the war in Iraq. I have said throughout this campaign that [ ] I would bring our troops home in the pace of one to two brigades per month and at that pace we would have our combat troops out in 16 months. That position has not changed. I have not equivocated on that position. I am not searching for maneuvering room with respect to that position."
This statement was made early July. The month is over and the war gang is still spreading lies about Obama.
Lieberman is angry because Obama will deprive the US of its "victory" in Iraq. There is no victory whatsoever: when the US increased its troops in Iraq, the terrorists moved to Afghanistan, where they are attacking NATO forces with increased gusto, causing daily casualties. If the number of US and allied forces increase in Afghanistan, terrorists will go back to Iraq.
I think Lieberman is trying to destroy the Democratic Party to which he claims he belongs. He can spin his position the way he wants, but I insist that the reason is that he wants the two parties to adopt an extremist foreign policy that serves Israel. After all, he represents it in the Senate.
Particularly interesting is the image of evil Jooos Lieberman and Cantor.
Yada, yada, yada. More of the same old, same old from the Muslim quarter. Ask me if I care. The answer is that I do care because these folks are out to destroy our way of life and us along with it. Don’t ever forget that for one single second. McCain/Palin in 2008!!!
Jihad el-Khazen
Now there is a person I really listen to in forming my opinion about U.S. Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates.
NOT!!
Sheesh. The next thing you know they will be wanting to vote in our elections, just like European Leftists.
Oh, I agree.
Editorials like this are useful to show people how Obama is clearly favored by the terrorists -— because Obama is weak at best, or, more likely will actively help them against US, Israel, and western interests generally.
A good shout-out to Cantor supporters -— seems he’s officially part of the Evil Jooo Cabal now.
Good place to be, IMHO.
Again, kudos and thanks for the interesting article!

One Billion Muslims in the World
15 Million Jews in the World
Every nation throughout history that has attacked the jews has been destroyed by God. You can check the record.
Not one nation attacked the jews and got by with it.
It is shameful of the muslims that their only ambition in life is to kill a few jews.
Mankind never knows what he will be confronted with in his lifetime and throughout my life time I have never been harmed by a jew and muslims have been a constant problem. The killing of 3k Americans in the Twin Towers was the last straw.
I know in my heart not all muslims are bad people and I know in my heart all muslims don’t walk around all day lusting to kill jews but, for me it is hard to pick the killers from the good. So they all fall in one catagory until proven otherwise.
What? No gag alert?
Amen.
“What? No gag alert?”
I figured the “terrorist for Obama” caption would work.
The key is to make clear one is not endorsing the absurd content.
I was just so proud Cantor made it to the “evil Joo Cabal” list with Lieberman.
VP or no, he’s clearly an up-and-comer, worthy of support.
Waaay past time to turn parts of the Middle East into glass.
To them man who posted this article. I do not give a damn what you think about any issue in my country.
I mean that jihad guy.
It’s obvious by looking at the map that Israel is the threat. /s
