Obama’s Aim (Despite the rhetoric, the candidate opposes gun rights)

Denver — In 2007, Senator Barack Obama stood up for a gun owner. He endorsed Chicago Alderman Dorothy Tillman in her Democratic primary. Not only was she a gun owner, but she had even pulled a gun on her colleagues during a contentious 1991 ward redistricting hearing, according to eyewitnesses. Tillman, best known for demanding to be served by black (not white) waiters, and for advocating reparations for slavery, narrowly lost her race despite Obama’s support.

It would be only a slight exaggeration to say that this was the strongest effort Obama has ever made to support gun rights......

Freepers do any of you know if Barack Hussein ever participated in any gun buybacks? After all he was a community organizer and that’s one of the first things community organizers do. Buy back guns from the poor and defenseless in the hoods and projects leaving the poor and the weak without any means to defend themselves. It kind of sounds like thinning the herd doesn’t it. I would love to see a picture of Barack Hussein at a community organizer gun buyback.

I remember reading recently in the "American Rifleman" that he had a grade of “F” from BOTH the NRA and Gun Owners Assoc.

Suggest you all stock up on ammo and make those gun purchases before the election. Despite the recent Supreme Court judgment, I'm quite concernerd what a commie president and congress could do to invalidate our Second amendment rights.....

"...Not only was she a gun owner, but she had even pulled a gun on her colleagues during a contentious 1991 ward redistricting hearing..."

She is not a real "gun owner". She is a thug who has a gun. Any "real" gun owner would understand the correct and allowable uses of a firearm.

Taken straight from Obama’s website August 20, 2008:
http://www.barackobama.com/issues/urbanpolicy/#crime-and-law-enforcement

“As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama also favors commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn’t have them. He supports closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. He also supports making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.”

Ahhh... this is just great. Yet ANOTHER “domestic” terrorist Obama has supported!

Obama & Biden would be the most anti-gun administration in US history. When combined with a (likely) Democratic congress and the potential of up to 5 Supreme Court picks, the outlook for gun rights is very bleak if he’s elected.
