There was association between the Weathermen and the Black Liberation movement (and the Black Panthers) going back to the 1960s. It did not begin with the 1981 bank robbery.
They make reference to it themselves in the documentary Underground (1976).
Obama needs to explain to the American people why his friendship and association with a blatant and proud terrorist whose only regret is that he did NOT DO MORE,,,,
is ok and acceptable.
The American people deserve that explanation as a minimum.
Now, Fox’s James Rosen seems to have the tape of Bill Ayers interview, Fox is NOT releasing the tape yet while refusing to air the Ad criticizing Obama’s association with him. Looks strange to me.
Remember Bush’s DUI during 2000 election? Well, Fox chose to reveal it (refusing to delay 15 minutes Bushies asked) even after AP & ABC dissed the story at first.

During the April 16 debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, moderator George Stephanopoulos brought up “a gentleman named William Ayers,” who “was part of the Weather Underground in the 1970s. They bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol, and other buildings. He’s never apologized for that.” Stephanopoulos then asked Obama to explain his relationship with Ayers. Obama’s answer: “The notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was eight years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn’t make much sense, George.” Obama was indeed only eight in early 1970. I was only nine then, the year Ayers’s Weathermen tried to murder me.
