"Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama. His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy and national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century. An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team. Biden's selection is good news for Obama and America."
Let's ask Larry Sinclair...
So it's a gay thing?
Hey Schmuck Hagel:
Who cares what you think?
“Talking points,” indeed.
Darkness spread in darkness brings forth darkness....
The Sin-ate has been disasterous for America. They are worse than the Soviet Politburo. That the ‘Rats and the GOP are ONE party was never MORE EVIDENT.
Confidential to RNC Senatorial Campaign: here’s a clue as to why your contributions are way down.
Do we have a FR award for Best Traitor to the GOP?

Hagel is pathetic.
A Senator thinks two other Senators are great? If he thought anything less he would have to lower his overinflated opinion of himself.
McLOSER
Scarborough was enthusiastically praising both Biden and the Donkey ticket in general early this morning. What a POS he’s turned into.
CHuck Hagel went off the deep end a long time ago.
p.s. This really is the year for US Senators, isn’t it? 3 of 4 major party nominees are US Senators and we don’t know the 4th yet b/c McCain hasn’t made his choice (but it doesn’t look like it will be another Senator). Still, can’t think of another election cycle that had 3 of 4 nominees from the US Senate. Well, 1960 could count, I guess, since JFK and LBJ were both Senators and Nixon as VP was nominal head of the Senate.... (but the VP is not really a “member” of the Senate and anyway has sitting VP he had a real executive branch role). btw, in 1960 the Nixon VP running mate was Henry Cabot Lodge who was a former Senator and so that was truly the last time a US Presidential race was so dominated by the US Senate backgrounds of the nominees.
Chuck Hagel
Say's it all doesn't it?
What party is this guy in again? Why?
The Senate sees itself as a country club ABOVE the citizens as an aristocracy. They are not attached to the real world.
Translation: Dem Mouthpiece attempts to "Whistle Past the Graveyard."
Is this an admission that Obama is inexperienced and has no G-R-A-V-I-T-A-S?
Chuck Hagel should just switch to the Democrats and get it over with. With friends like these...
“The Sin-ate has been disasterous for America. They are worse than the Soviet Politburo. That the Rats and the GOP are ONE party was never MORE EVIDENT.”
What ought to concern everyone is why we cant get a pres/VP candidate anywhere except from this corrupt Senate. Its like government take over by a Media/Senate coop! This year alone....Biden, Edwards, Hillary, McCain, Dodd, Thompson.....and the dems only pick from the Senate....Gore, Edwards, Lieberman, Kerry...
The senate is the LAST place we should be getting our candidates.
What on earth ever happened to Chuck Hagel. Didn’t he used to be a decent, respectable human bring?
How old is Hagel? Really old? Old enough to be... confused?
Hagel reporting in from his orbit around Neptune.
LOL
RUsh will have a field day on Monday - he was openly rooting for Biden as he has a ton of archival sound bites.
I’m gonna get me some popcorn.....
IF the Obama and Biden match is a "strong and impressive team," then Hagel shouldn't have to waste his time saying that kind of stuff.
Was he pressed for a statement, or did he volunteer this information?
Chuck Hagel is a very stupid man.
Chuck Hagel (D-Nebraska) would make a great running mate for Obama.
Amen, brother! Amen!
Keep in mind that if Mr. Hagel says anything less than "Obama is the greatest thing ever," the MSM will instantly brand him as a racist.
You know, I think I would happily take Lieberman in a trade for Hagel and a player to be named later.
I have been saying for years that the freepers who think big-government bureaucrats know better than the little people should spend some enjoying the lovely gerrymandered Chicago machine controlled state legislative we have here in Illinois. Before Barack Obama, we had a fine conservative Republican senator named Peter Fitzgerald (who opted to retire), but if your heros in the state legislature could control our FEDERAL officials as well as our state government, we'd still have Carol Mosely-Braun as our Senator.
But oh well, we can't trust individuals to make decisions about who represents them, can we? Government is our friend.
P.S. Please don't give me the usual B.S. that "the founders" wanted it that way. If that is your big concern, then we need to immediately remove Dick Cheney as veep and install the "runner up" candidate (namely John Kerry) as veep so we can carry out what "the founders" envisioned in 1789.
And he still talks every day about being a Repub and a part of Newt’s 1994 revolution. Joe left the reservation long ago.
Hagel should have been thrown out of the
republican party years ago.
Well, if the MSM would insist on the same rules as they invoked in 1996, we would be rid of a LOT of the senate. Remember? The media INSISTED that Dole resign the senate to prove that he really, really, really wanted to be president. Think of how many we could be rid of if that rule had applied in 2000, 2004, 2007 and 2008?
Let sleeping moribund policies die. The VP situation is no argument at all against repealing Amendment XVII.
Testify, brother, testify!
Ah, two-buck-buttf#$k-Chuck weighs in on the matter, as if anybody still gives a sh!t what he has to say.
Barf alert?
Luckily, Hagel will be gone from the Senate come January.
They’re both libs, but at least Lieberman isn’t embarrassingly stupid.
BTW, Nixon himself was a senator for two years, ‘51-’52.
Agreed. And, the fact is that Lieberman is about the best we could ever get out of Connecticut. The good people of Nebraska are probably embarassed by Hagel and I'm glad they will soon replace him with Mike Johanns!
Now if they can just target Ben Nelson in '12!!!
Hagel doesn't give a darn what he says at this time since he is retiring from the Senate at the end of the year and really has no place to go.
So it's a gay thing?
Well hell, somebody has to put up the old Seinfeld episode's politically correct phoniness line "Not that there's anything wrong with that".
Hagel is aiming for DefSec in an Obama-Biden admin.
