Pro-Life Expert on Population Issues Says McCain Better on Abortion Than Obama

A leading pro-life expert on population issues says he strongly favors John McCain for president because there is a significant contrast between his abortion position and Barack Obama's. They say voters concerned about pro-life issues have an easy choice this November.

In an article sent to LifeNews.com, Colin Mason, the media director for the Population Research Institute, says this is a "pivotal election for the pro-life movement" because of the position of the Supreme Court.

For pro-life advocates, overturning Roe and allowing states to ban abortions has been a decades-long goal and some say the court is just one vote away from doing that.

"The Supreme Court is currently effectively deadlocked on the life issues," Mason says, but with its abortion advocates aging and judicial appointments to be made, the Supreme Court is perhaps the highest priority.

"If a pro-lifer were to take the White House in 2009, he would have the opportunity to fill up to three Supreme Court seats with judges who share his views, creating a strong majority on the court," he explains.

Mason says the difference between Obama and McCain on judicial picks is stark.

One of the top priorities is to have a Supreme Court which will withdraw from the culture war and let the American people decide it on their own.

"... Expert ... Says McCain Better on Abortion Than Obama..."

???

Attila the Hun was probably 'Better on Abortion' than Obama.
As was Geengis Khan (a name that is somehow seared in my memory...)

yeah, it wouldn’t have been above his “pay grade”...I loved when Obama said that, it was like a gift from heaven...a place Obama won’t likely be seeing with his stance on killing innocent babies.

“Attila the Hun was probably ‘Better on Abortion’ than Obama.””

LOL- very amusing. McCain wasn’t my first choice, but it looks like he’ll have to do.

“Pro-Life Expert on Population Issues Says McCain Better on Abortion Than Obama”

Yes he is. That will be confirmed when he picks a pro-life VP.

The McCain List.

While it appears to be a no-brainer to reach this conclusion, most Americans are unaware of how truly grotesque Obama has been on the issue of life. This will be a major issue in this campaign.

You certainly don’t have to be an expert to know that!

Given that Mr. Obama had time to prepare for this question (he knew it was coming) - the 'above my pay grade' response was a pretty lame repartee.
Truly a flippant response considering over one million babies killed each year at the altar of 'convenience' and self-centerness.

Ditto.
Amazing how the Barack Hussein Obama candidacy can make former 'dregs' look so 'good'. Heck, even Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton looks good to me when stacked up against Mr. Obama...And if you'd have told me a year ago that I'd use the word 'good' in the same sentence as Mrs. Clinton -- I'd have said it was impossible.
But what do you know....
