I made no remarks about her looks, nor do I think I wrote something that was in bad taste.

It is bad taste for HBO to pay a 'living tribute' to this vile, partisan, hateful 'reporter' (to stretch its meaning beyond recognition). There is nothing redeeming about this person or anything that is worthy of emulation or adoration, period.

Dear Gaffer,

I imputed the bad taste to HBO, not to you and I apologize if you thought otherwise. You are correct in every respect regarding that she-ogre. I wish HBO would be so blithe to pay tribute to a truly honorable and patriotic reporter such as Tony Snow. I do not apologize, however, for referring to her ugliness because it goes much deeper than her external features.
