The article is confusing.
It claims to “shed new” light on the cause of the C-130’s crash, which killed Zia, certain US officials, and others.
One of the wives of one of the US officials killed in the crash recites what US crash investigators told her: a design flaw/mechanical failure that had occurred in other C130 mishaps was the cause of the crash of Zia’s C130 and her husband’s death.
She was told this after the crash investigation. The crash itself occurred 20 years ago. Presumably the investigation concluded within months or a year or two afterwards.
What is the “new light” shed here?
Anytimes “The Times” opens its mouth about anything you know you are going to be overloaded with BS and more BS.
Is that wife/widow named Rahel?
Is that wife Robin Raphel? Her home was just raided in a spy investigation.
