You know there are some in the liberal media who have simply lost touch with reality when the headline reads "John Edwards Cheats on Wife With Cancer" and they ask with great detachment whether he'll be able to run for office again soon. These people's morality is so bizarre that they showed more outrage at John McCain featuring a picture of Paris Hilton in a commercial for two eye-blinks than for Edwards catting around on a dying spouse. ...

The media is just unfortunately ultra prejudiced in favor of the left and there is a double standard. They think that this is the “popular” way to report news. My husband and I will not buy any newspapers that show this slant. And also, not to watch any tv networks or buy anything they advertise when we see that they show this type of unfairness. And we will email the sources and let them know this. Yes, it’s hard because there are so many that are this way. Luckily I don’t watch much tv.
What is so....AMAZING, is that the MSM is just going on....nobody questioning their choices in who/what to cover.
The clear double-standard is there for all to see, yet the media will not even acknowledge that they have a serious problem.

John Edwards should not be running for any elective office, nor should he be seeking any appointive office either. He is tainted, now and to the end of his days, as unfit to serve in a position of public trust. He has chosen to make his priority a “pubic thrust”, and eliminates himself from serious consideration for ANYTHING that is not a personal quest for redemption and contrition.
I grew up reading two newspapers a day. Haven’t read one in 12 years. But the idiots at the Cleveland Plain Dealer keep callin’ me, offering a month’s free subscription. The last guy who called me, surprised me. I told him that I didn’t want the paper even if it was free. Then I told him that the CPD was just way too left-wing for me. His response? “I completely understand. Thanks for your time.”
That is what we need to all do. Take a stand on this and hold them accountable for their unfair reporting. If enough people did it they would start to care.

Media bias infuriates me, and on this one news story alone I've lost count of the denials of bias. Some of them may even believe their own denials.
No, you’re right, McCain is a slippery “centerist” always looking for the “right” position...he considered running with Kerry last time.
Still, to keep Barry the socialist out of power, I might have to vote for McCain....not happy.
The liberal position is that deep down everyone is skanky. "Everybody does it." Teddy, Jack, Bobby, Slick Willy, Gary and Gary, John and Prettyboy. The skank is such a familiar part of life for most liberals...it's like a candy bar or filling your tank with gas.
The tragedy of adultery, divorce and bastardy is totally lost for them. There is no "moral" issue for them. There are no morals.

The media is the right hand of the democrat party. It will always attack republicans and provide cover for the crimes committed by democrats. Their bias is twice as bad right now because the current democrat candidate is a black man.
So true. A big skank-arama for them all. But they still love to poke at Republicans caught in the act because they seem to despise the fact that the Republicans still attempt to follow a moral code and pay a penalty for breaking it, so much do the dems seemingly hate any moral impositions. So we still hear more Larry Craig jokes than we hear any comment on Silky Pony's escapades. Of course, out of deference to Silky's ailing wife, it's probably just as well - this time.
That anyone could truly love and remain faithful to his wife is lost on them.
So sadly true. And I imagine it goes both ways these days with the feminazi dem spouses. Some of their marriages seem more like business arrangements, to further the political aims of each, than a true, loving commitment. Maybe that's why we don't hear the DU left freaking out about arranged marriages and burkas and 'honor' killings and such...
