Six Degrees of Barack Obama By Daniel J. Kelley

Are the Democrats and the American People About to be Mugged by a Con Artist?

Some Democrats are beginning to feel pangs of remorse over the candidacy of Barack Obama as they head to Denver. The presumptive nominee appears to be fully capable of snatching defeat out of the jaws of certain victory.

I wonder if Obama is that guy from Africa who keeps sending out those phishing emails that promises you a small fortune if you just send him your bank account number.

If he is elected...they’ll want to impeach his butt after they learn the world didn’t get any better.

The democrat party has been completely taken over by far left socialists. They are perfectly happy Obama is also a far left socialist. Their problem is that he hasn’t lived up to the hype created by their MSM lackey’s. They don’t realize that the nation as a whole just isn’t as far to the left as they are.

From the article:

"Given his origins is it any wonder that Obama seems alternately confused and given to grandiose boasting about his imaginary achievements? Has any other major party ever sought to nominate a candidate who sought the presidency as a means of resolving his personal identity crisis?"

The democrats were (at least) not taken in by con artist crooked lawyer Edwards.

Obama is an arrogant complete fake, the worst and least qualified person in history to run for President.

You could have thrown a dart in the phone book and come up with someone more competent than Obama. At least some kid working for McDonalds has legitimate real world job experience!

I got a weird one once that told me I won the Irish Sweepstakes by coming in second. The first place winner declined the prize. What are these people smoking when they write these things? I always thought you had to enter something to win. They must think most Americans are like the DemocRATS. Dumber than a box of rocks.

When it all doesn’t work, and we’ve fallen into a depression, the MSM will still be putting out stories that things are better than they ever were.

It’s only when republicans are in office you see stories on unemployment and the homeless, even though the actual numbers are lower.

I actually saw a story today that said that the reason they are finding urine trucker bottles is because trucks are afraid to stop to throw out their garbage because they might waste gas.

I’d cut Barack a break. He never really had a chance. The leftist media and the convention wisdom was being judged through the rose colored glasses of liberalism. The press still doesn’t get it. Most people including independents aren’t boosters of outright liberalism and socialism. Most grown ups don’t seek to have their personal failings and peculiar behaviors written into law. Most people don’t think the government is handling our money responsibly, they don’t trust the media and they aren’t big fans of politicians in general. So a man who proposes all kinds of big new taxes and big new government is bound to fail. Obama and the Democrat party are just lucky the Republicans seem to not understand marketing otherwise they’d have been swept away long ago. Also the party leadership clearly has some big money Rhinos directing things. It is easy to see that the way they avoid supporting many solid conservatives.

1994 was a year the Republicans got it, this year is another year. They see the opportunity with energy and with the stark contrast of a hard left liberal like Obama running against a fairly conservative John McCain. The GOP has the potential if they take this opening to make gains in the House and Senate. It is all about money. What is 10 million dollars to bring some of the conservative candidates out there to parity with the Democrats they are running against? Virginia would become competitive quickly if Jim Gilmore had money to saturate the state with ads running Mark Warner’s broken promises and his opposition to drilling.

That said Obama admires Europe’s progressives and chastises Americans to learn Spanish and John McCain loves America and isn’t ashamed of Americana. That is something Obama can’t fix. He is a Chicago liberal and he can’t avoid it. The Democrat party is in a mess. They can not get rid of him without certain doom. They also can not bet on Hillary Clinton running as the VP to pull him out of the fire. If anything Hillary running would doubly doom him which is another example of conventional liberal wisdom being wrong.
The man has even less support from his base than John McCain who has closed that gap.
