YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Obama said McCain is taking a page from the Bush-Cheney playbook on energy, saying his only solution is to drill anywhere and everywhere for oil.
Thats what he talked about yesterday, I want to drill here. I want to drill now, Obama said, quoting McCain talking in Sturgis, S.D. I dont know where he was standing. I think he was in a building somewhere. This plan will not lower prices today; it wont lower prices during the next administration.

ZERO leadership for America.
I wonder if the dems are having serious second thoughts of buyer’s remorse yet?...............
“I dont know where he was standing. I think he was in a building somewhere. This plan will not lower prices today; it wont lower prices during the next administration.”
Once again, moron, Bush mentioned rescinding the EO on offshore drilling and prices plummeted. So what do you think the speculation market will do if offshore drilling actually happens?
Keep on babbling, Obamoron. Things are looking better and better for McCain with every word out of the Obamoron’s mouth.
Didn't Obama just come out in favor of more drilling????? Can't this guy remember his own flip-flop for a day?
This guy’s a tool.
America needs more fertilizer. It’s time to drill directly through Obama’s head.
“This plan will not lower prices today; it wont lower prices during the next administration.
Obambi continues to make foolish statements undermining his credibility. I think he sat on his tire gauge.
This guy is trying to lose worse than Mondale.
The only way I can visualize Infinity is to think how about the level of contempt I feel for this man.
The Stuttering Dumbo has a lot of nerve! He supported the Bush-Cheney energy bill.
It’s for the chiiiiiiiiildren.
Yes he is but if McCain and House and Senate Republicans don’t explain in stump speeches why drilling will work now and how speculators work they are also tools. Gas is down to 3.65 here in Texas. There is a reason and McCain and Congress needs to point out why that is.
This illustrates what I find infuriating about the Democrat position: Since it won't produce results during my term of office, I'm not interested. Really? Well, since major breakthroughs in cancer and Alzheimer's research won't like happen in the next 4 years, are you going to abandon those, too? Finally, the delay between exploration and having it reach the pump is largely a permit process problem...one which Congress can help eliminate. So, rather than following Queen Nancy's lead and stand there with your thumb up your a$$, let's starting drilling ANWR, the OCS, and all federal lands and just see how long it takes to lower oil prices. Just having Bush discuss these restrictions has brought the price down $20/bbl.
Quit the cute little sayings and arrogant quips, BO, and come up with a better plan that actually lowers the price of distillate fuels. All your plans do is transfer more money from consumers to Washington...a plan that's been tried before under Carter and was an abysmal failure then and would be even moreso now.
He isn't even as smart as John Kenneth Galbraith who published a widely proclaimed essay on the economic vitality of the Soviet Union. Six months later the Berlin Wall fell.
Yup...and a dull one at that.
This guy is trying to lose worse than Mondale.
