Only thing I want is more Conservatives to give the rest of the GOP, Dems and Indes a lesson in what principles we the people live by!
It's almost like President Bush becoming pro-choice.
Ohio is the key. For Obama to have a realistic chance of becoming POTUS, he has to capture that state at all costs.
Pleezeeeeeeeeeeee the idea that this was (IT'S NOT ANYMORE IF IT EVER WAS ) a rat year was always a figment of the ratmedia’s imagination as per the 9% approval rating of the ratHOUSE. They could spin all they want but this nonsense was just that nonsense. If he nominated either the beast or barack mcgovern the rat was/is doomed.
If this was truly the headline, the MSM is even more illiterate than I thought. The word they’re looking for is “fare.” “Fair” is never a verb.
And by finding the 'nads they have lost.
I hope Republicans hammer those concepts home at all levels. The Dims surely mishandled the oil drilling big-time and their usual partners in crime, the MSM, are unable to spin it when EVERYONE is hurting at the pump. There is no way around that and for once the RNC has picked up on the obvious and actually acted on it. Now - don't let up! Nancy deserves her abysmal 9% approval rating and it could go even lower if she continues on her charted course.
As far as lifting the veil on the empty suit that is BHO, McCain is following a surprisingly effective ad campaign right now. He needs to maintain the same approach by pointing out in commonsense terms what even the dimmest or least-involved politically can understand about Obama's dangerous ideology.
the better strategery would be for the President to hold a press conference explaining why he is mandating the House and Senate forgo their “break” and work on emergency energy legislation., let the Democrats whine.
I've said for some time now that whichever candidate wins in November, they'll win with fewer than 290 electoral votes.
I hope this is right, but it’s hard to give an article much credibility when the headline’s misspelled.
I would like to see the republicans display their own choice of colors when depicting their strengths on national political maps. Prior to 2000, the republicans had been depicted as blue and the Dem’s red. The MSM, in order to detach the notion of Dem’s being communist reversed the color schemes in an attempt to perform psychological jiu-jitsu. I like the color orange personally as it seems to have no political connotations I can think of!

Oil - Drill Now - Make It Cheap & Plentiful in the USA
FYI, Mark.
The Democrats also have an opportunity here. Suddenly about face on oil drilling and open ANWR and the coasts. The price of oil will slide significantly on the news and the Democrats will get kudos and hosanna and elected. Once they are in control all over after November, they can take it all back. McCain has to put the demand to drill at fever pitch before the Crats can do all that so he can save some of the credit for himself.
I think that stubborn opposition will end at an appropriate moment before the election. They will get elected thereby and then it won’t matter what happened with drilling when the Oilcos are nationalized and Rationing goes into effect.
The President has neither Constitutional nor political authority to issue such a mandate.
He could use the bully pulpit to build a public outcry against Congress taking a vacation while the nation suffers from their inactivity on increasing oil supply, but that's about it. And frankly, I don't think Bush has the political capital to win that PR battle, sad to say.
Or joining the global warming alarmists. Oh wait. He already did that.
