One can well visualize why the blimp from Sadr City prefers to lay around his villa outside Qom, and woof down plates of lamb chops his wife serves him while reclined on a sofa with lots of pillows.
If he comes back to Iraq he is likely to have a problem staying alive. Besides once the Iraqi government starts to dole out more bucks to the lame and the halt in SC, the people will turn their backs on the Sadrist. Their Marxist tendencies to follow the trial of hand outs leading to full stomachs for no work done will override their objections to compromises made within the government over who rules.
