Poll: Voters Have Misgivings About Obama

While Democrat Barack Obama continues to lead Republican rival John McCain in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, the survey also reveals that voters have some serious misgivings about an Obama presidency.

In the poll, 47 percent of respondents said they prefer Obama to win, compared to 41 percent for McCain. That’s the same lead Obama enjoyed a month ago.

But when asked which candidate would be better when it comes to being knowledgeable and experienced, 53 percent said McCain and only 19 percent chose Obama.

Asked who would be the better commander in chief, again 53 percent said McCain, while 25 percent said Obama.

Respondents favored McCain by a 38 percent to 30 percent margin as being consistent and standing up for beliefs, and 42 percent to 31 percent as having strong leadership qualities.

Also, 55 percent said Obama would be the “riskier choice” as president, compared to 35 percent for McCain.

“The campaign's unusual dynamic appears to be the result of an anxious nation now sizing up an unconventional candidate who presents himself as the agent for change, which voters say they want,” The Journal observed.

In other words from Obama supporters who would vote for him, but doesn’t think he would be a good leader...

The Obama star is going to fade out. He can’t answer an impromptu question about the Iraq War that has been going on for 6 years. No way he can sustain momentum in this campaign until November.

My dad used to say “dog that goes fast won’t go long.”

Obama’s star will flame out...

I prefer the candidate who once wore the uniform of a tactical fighter pilot over the one who once wore the muslim garb.

People who call themselves undecided or independent are just too lazy, stupid and cowardly to have a commitment to a candidate or a party.

They also do not like the feeling of having backed the wrong horse... so they wait till things are pretty obvious and then jump in!

The fact that someone like Osama-Obama is even close to McCain in “Supposed votes”, is a testament to just how bad McCain is. A real conservative would have Osama-Obama in the single digits.

Its means only one thing: the voters don't think Obama is ready to be President. Obama's MSM generated lead doesn't count for squat when voters ask themselves what they want in a President. Does Obama look and appear presidential and in command? In a dangerous world, the answer to that question is obvious and the American people already know it even if the MSM still pretends Obama is the favorite in November.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus

Barry has actually achieved a "jump the shark" moment. He is not getting any bounce from his college-backpack-hostel tour of Europe, but actually is in free-fall.

From Wiki: "Jumping the shark is a colloquialism used by U.S. TV critics and fans to denote the point in a TV or movie series at which the characters or plot veer into a ridiculous, out-of-the-ordinary storyline. Shows that have "jumped the shark" are typically deemed to have passed their peak, since they have undergone too many changes to retain their original appeal, and after this point critical fans often sense a noticeable decline in the show's quality."<

Why is it that every crook or criminal wants to vote fore Obama? Why is it that every evil nation supports Obama?
I find that no decent people want Obama as their leader.
G—Damn America, his preacher said. Heaven help us all.
