Fox News did a segment this morning about the propsed gas tax increase. They asked both a Republican and Democrat. Demint appeared for the Republicans and since no Demorats wanted to appear Fox News used an empty chair instead of a reluctant, non appearing Democratic congress critter.

Fox News has almost became a Joke. They NEVER report about Obama fumbles, their reporter acts like Obama campaign spokesperson. Shame.
Bill Hemmer in closing the segment thanked the empty chair for appearing. LOL
Hey at least the dems are learning how to pray. They’re now on their knees asking “ please don’t let this issue stick to us, even though we are responsible for it.”
I think this is more than a snub to Fox News. What would be the official Democratic party line on gas prices...no drilling now and forever while we ride bicycles until hydrogen and electric cars are perfected in an economy that has tanked due to high oil prices?
Anita, this sounds like a great way for Fox to show how bad the democrats are on the issue of oil, drilling, and becoming self-sufficient. Isn’t that a good thing?

You watch a different FNS than I. I watch them 4-8 hours a day and the Brit News analysis at 6PM EST has had a number of clips and comments. They report news, not hate/slam pieces. Kinda nice shange from the other gnus channels, network OR cable.

Agreed that Fox isn’t as conservative as it once was and didn’t realize until yesterday that News Corp purchased the conservative “Weekly Standard.”
However, this morning Fox was covering Obama and Obama was complaining that everywhere he went in areas where the troops were it was Fox they were watching and he made the comment that the direction must have come from the CIC (Bush)! Fox hastily got a Fax or email from General Petraeus staff saying that all the networks are available to the troops, including MSM and CNN and it is their choice what to watch.
Later F&F got emails saying that CNN was the only choice that recovering soldiers were allowed to watch at Walter Reed Hospital and an army base in Virginia!
Headed for a 1% rating
