I understand your pessimism. I just don’t like the idea of changing from a known to an unknown in an islamic country. I consider Musharraf’s leadership tolerable. Should we gamble on something better, knowing that we could also get another Ahmadinajad?

How can I forget? Saying that he wants to go into Pakistan is the main reason to disqualify Obama for the Oval Office. In my book that would be the quickest way to throw away any gains that we may have made in Iraq & particularly Afghanistan. We have to keep our eye-on-the-ball. Obama doesn't even know what game we are playing.
Let's hope the replacement is better, because Mush's toast.
