Just when I'm starting to think that I can hold my nose and vote for McCain, up comes amnesty. I'm sure that Obama is the worse person, but I wonder who'll do the least damage.
Blacks are opposed to amnesty probably more than whites are, but the problem is that McCain, Obama and most of the whores in Congress don't care about anything more than fooling enough voters to keep themselves in power.

I think the best we can do is go to the polls and vote straight GOP for congress. McCain isn’t even going to try to get the support of the base...therefore he will lose.

Hey, don’t put words in my mouth...

I do however believe that in the long (even medium) term, we would be better off letting the damnocrats screw things up than electing a republican to do it.

If the legislation does not come as one piece but rather as two pieces. Such that first comes border protection and then later comes the amnesty only legislation—then I think that conservatives can get behind McCain because with the understanding that they will support him wholeheartedly on the first piece of legislation and fight him tooth and claw on the second piece of legislation. It should be understood that the second piece of legislation—the amnesty alone legislation is much weaker legislation than border security plus amnesty legislation.

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR THIS S.O.B.

I HAVE MADE A PROMISE TO MYSELF THAT I WILL NO LONGER VOTE FOR THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS. I HAVE DONE THAT FOR FAR TOO MANY YEARS.

Oh, well, yeah, I see where you're coming from there, but then I look at this picture and I wonder which ones would step down in moments after Obama was elected, and who Pelosi and Kennedy will push forward. Let's see... A Latina La Raza activist, an ACLU Civil Rights Attorney, and, oh, maybe something fun like a politician.

If we had the senate locked up, I'd actually be willing to give it a go. But we don't.

That's why I'm not voting for either Shamnesty candidate this year.

I must disagree with you severely on that, FRiend.

GWB was ‘our’ guy and do you remember the fight we put up? ...it ain’t over. It’s not the end.

It’s merely the end of the beginning.

It’s just Round 2 with a new pitcher.

We would indeed get nasty fastballs from McCain—worse yet, we’d get that PLUS nothing but mere spitwads for our military to fight with, with Obama.

America is just waking up. Late indeed. But most definitely awake.

If I understand correctly, even Executive Orders must be ratified by Congress.

And meanwhile, it ain’t over until it’s over. And it’s a long way from over, I pray, by the grace of God.

Pray and pass it on!

Yeah, David Gergen is already polishing his resume and getting ready for the call from the Obama Administration.

What amazes me, is that there is such a supply of elitists, arrogant, no real world accomplishment elected officials, that they throw one up every four years for the American people to knock down.

Just this year, they offered us giants like Biden, Dodd, Gravel. Four years ago, they gave us John F. Kerry, but don't forget Howard Dean, Weasley Clark. Before that we got algore and before that I can't forget Dukakis, Mondale, Jimmah Carter, Gary Hart. I don't put Bill Clinton, Bill Richardson or Paul Tsongas in this category.

And why don't Republicans bring up the Democrats long, long history of support for HIGHER gas prices. I remember Paul Tax on gas. I remember that algore and Clinton supported a 50 cent a gallon tax and supported a "BTU" tax, which would raise gas prices.

I have two stickers for our cars. One is NOBAMA 08. The other is the (to paraphrase a bit) McCain - ...I guess, ...if I have to.

That about sums up 2008.

I think what it now is boiling down to is citizenship. Does McCain's plan grant real citizenship with voting rights or does it not?

Obama has already stated full citizenship or amnesty to 12 million illegal;s which secures their vote in the Dems party.

If true citizenship is denied under McCain's plan, even though the illegals can stay, it would be better than giving illegals voting rights.

Poor, unable to speak read or write English, unable to support themselves...

and certainly not imbued with any love or respect for America or it's great history, nor have any care whatsoever about the stunning achievements of Western Civilization and the pride and dignity of it's great culture.

More than America is about to go down the drain, and someday people may well ponder how America and Western Civilization fell apart in much the same way that modern historians look back at Rome and debate how its passed away

but hey, the democrats will move into power forever...

Truth is, even if McCain's plan does not grant voting rights, the Dem Congress will see to it that voting rights are granted at lightning speed.
