Actually they’re saying that McCain is bad for the Republicans - there is a difference ya know!
And they’re right. The president is also the head of the national party. That means if McCain wins, the GOP will be less conservative and more like McCain.
The only reason I’m going to vote for McCain is the military. They’ve done a great job and don’t deserve a CinC like Obama. (They deserve better than McCain, too, but that isn’t an option...)
Excellent post. Those “Purists” on our side cannot be appeased and must not be appeased. McCain should totally ignore the “Purists” because first of all they are less than 1% of the voters and second he has much more than enough votes from independents to make up from the loss of the “Purists” vote. If he seeks the “Purists” vote means that he is going to lose much more votes form independents.
