The Supreme Court’s ruling upholding the Second Amendment comes just as it has been revealed that in Iraq, Islamic jihadists have been forcing the Christians remaining in the country to pay jizya – the tax mandated in the Qur’an for non-Muslims who live under Islamic rule. And in Pakistan’s Northwest Frontier Province, the Taliban has been enforcing Islamic Sharia law by waving automatic weapons, forcing music stores to close down at the point of a gun (music is forbidden in Islamic law).

We just have a small group of elitist leftist yahoos that think they deserve - nay, are obligated - to make our decisions for us and to remove our individualism and individual freedoms.
And then, we have a huge, nearly 50% of the population, that has been bought off with either the promise of free stuff from the government, or the promise that these elites will “punish” those who “got lucky” and are successful in our system.

"Mohammedans?", I have only seen that word in older books. There are many Islamic countries. Each has their own gun laws. Sadaam's Iraq was a secular state and had strong gun laws prohibiting general ownership. Of course, after our invasion, everyone had guns. I read that at one point we were trying to take every gun, but agreed to leave one per man (or maybe household) for personal protection. If you have specific information about Iraq not allowing non"Mohammedans" guns, I'd love to see it.

It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average would indicate.

Oh no, just like W has completely ignored the myriad of atrocities and terrorist activities by his "guy" Abbas and his PA and only put pressure on Israel, in order to try and secure a legacy, he has taken the same hands off approach regarding the Mooslimbs attacks on Christians in Iraq, less he "offend" the Islamist.
When I hear about this, it gives me pause as to what the outcome of this war will be if we manage to stabilize that shit-hole and rid it of foreign insurgents, only to have it turn into another Islamofacist Afganistan-type theocracy.
