Bolton: Washington committed serious mistake by recognizing Kosovo’s independence
RUVR ^ | June 26, 2008 | Staff

American Deputy Secretary of State John Bolton believes the United States committed a serious mistake when it recognized the independence of Kosovo. He fears such policy may escalate tensions in the Balkans. In an interview for the Russian news agency Interfax, Mr. Bolton remarked that Washington’s policy was on autopilot since the regime of the late Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic. But the situation has changed considerably after the democratic government took over, which, in Mr. Bolton’s opinion, makes support for Kosovo’s independence a pointless atavism.

Documentation? I’m not saying it is not true, but I thought I was following Serb/Kosovo situation fairly closely in the 1990s, and I don’t recall hearing of John Bolton much before when he was nominated for the UN post.

“Welcome to reality, boys. “

Thank you. The reality is: No Serb soldier will set foot in Kosovo (it will be one day Albania) for a long, long, long time. We can never say never as a virus might kill only Albanians but don’t count on it.

‘’In the event of conflict in Kosovo caused by Serbian action, the United States will be prepared to employ military force against the Serbians in Kosovo and in Serbia proper.’’

President George Bush in a letter to Slobodan Milosevic, then Serbian President, Dec. 25, 1992.

Bolton is a nobody when it comes to making official policy. The US has spoken. Serbs need to invest in reading comprehension courses. When US threatens “military force” that is usually not good.

But it will happen and we both know it.

Peace and justice will return to Kosovo-Metohija alongside the Serb Army, Bonly boy.

"Peace and justice will return to Kosovo-Metohija alongside the Serb Army"

Make sure you talk to Russia first, you will need a place to settle should you start. It will be a fight, not a propaganda or whining match.

"The Albanian regards the Slav as an intruder and a robber; the Slav looks on the Albanian as an inconvenient person who, though occasionally beaten, has always refused to be conquered; and, having the inestimable advantage of being more skilled in literature, he has consistently represented the voiceless Albanian as a brigand and a plunderer of Slav villages.

As a matter of history, the boot is on the other foot. Setting aside the fact that both Albanian and Slav can be, and are, brigands on occasion, the Albanian and his kindred had been for centuries quarrelling comfortably among themselves when the Slav hordes poured across the Danube, and drove the old inhabitants by sheer weight of numbers from the plains to the uplands, and from the uplands to the mountains."
By Wadham Peacock: "Albania: the Foundling State of Europe" in early 1990's

We came down from the mountains to get what's always been ours. Once in Russia you'll start b-tching about "the atrocities done to Serbs," just as you did after Operation Storm, but no one will care.

You’ll run like frightened chickens from the shadow of an armed Serb.

Kosovo is Serbian and it will be again. The Roma and the Jews will also be able to live in peace there again.

Enjoy your temporary residence there, it won’t last long, regardless of how many old women the KLA scum drown in bathtubs.

"You’ll run like frightened chickens from the shadow of an armed Serb."

The next time you will not be the only one having tanks or airplanes (that's why it will not be a next time for cowardly Serbs):
"As defined by Allen, rape warfare is "a military policy for the purpose of genocide currently practiced in Bosnia-Herzegovina (B-H) and Croatia by members of the Yugoslav Army, the Bosnian Serb forces, Serb militias in Croatia and B-H, the irregular Serb forces known as Chetniks, and Serb civilians." There are three main forms of this "genocidal rape" that Allen has identified. First, Chetniks or other Serb forces enter a B-H or Croatian village, take several women of varying ages from their homes, rape them in public view, and depart.

The news of this atrocious event spreads rapidly throughout the village. Several days later, regular Bosnian Serb soldiers or Serb soldiers from the Yugoslav Army arrive and offer the now-terrified residents safe passage away from the village on the condition they never return. Most accept, leaving the village abandoned to the Serbs and thus furthering the genocidal plan of "ethnic cleansing."

It's unlikely you'll trick the West into supplying either to the Jihadist KLA again.

"The Kosovo-Albanians have played us like a Stradivarius. We have subsidized and indirectly supported their violent campaign for an ethnically pure and independent Kosovo. We have never blamed them for being the perpetrators of the violence in the early '90s and we continue to portray them as the designated victim today in spite of evidence to the contrary. When they achieve independence with the help of our tax dollars combined with those of bin Laden and al-Qaeda, just consider the message of encouragement this sends to other terrorist-supported independence movements around the world. Funny how we just keep digging the hole deeper!"—Maj-Gen. Lewis MacKenzie

Yes, you attempted to use that same argument right before your most recent ban, but MacKenzie still told the truth.

By the way, Bonly, what was that last screen name you were using?

Oh that's right, you tried to use this accusation when you were posting as prometheus1982. I couldn't find the direct reference because all of your postings under that screen name were removed by the Admin Moderator.

It's not an accusation, it's the truth and it doesn't change. Talking about lies and myths, Lazar surrendered:

"The fact that Lazar and a good number of his knights surrendered in a vain attempt to save their lives did not excuse Vuk's failure to continue fighting...in truth the story of Vuk's treason was the direct result of a propaganda campaign initiated by Milica's supporter's [Serbian Queen Milica is the Sultan's mother in law too] as part of her quarrel with the prince."

Speaking of the truth, Appalled but not surprised, Ronly Bonly Jones, old-and-old, The Great Prophet Zarquon, prometheus1982, etc., the truth is that an honorable man would have stayed banned the first time they dropped the stick on you.

But we do so enjoy watching you bring it upon yourself once again.

Hey, going to tell us more Bravo Sierra about your alleged time in JAG?

This nutjob has set a record for morphing screen names, but like a mindless moth drawn to the flame, he barges onto the Balkans thread, spewing forth his hatred of all things Serbian until they kick him out again.
