Justice: Does Barack Obama think Osama bin Laden has a right to an attorney and should be read his Miranda rights if captured? As shocking as this is, it's in the proud tradition of his party.

In an interview with ABC News on Monday, Obama indicated that, like President Bill Clinton in 1993 after the first bombing of the World Trade Center, he too would treat the war on terror as a law enforcement matter.

In defense of the recent Boumediene decision giving habeas corpus rights to enemy combatants, the Democrats' 2008 standard bearer said it was his "firm belief that we can track terrorists, we can crack down on threats against the United States, but we can do so within the constraints of our Constitution."

Obama opined that "in previous terrorist attacks, for example the first terrorist attack against the World Trade Center, we were able to arrest those responsible, put them on trial. They are currently in U.S. prisons incarcerated."

Is that what he has in mind for bin Laden? Life without parole? We'd prefer battlefield justice from a Predator drone.

Fact is, the Clinton administration's decision to treat the February 1993 attack as a law enforcement matter rather than a declaration of war on the United States was the first step down a road to a 9/11 that saw Americans killed by terrorists on three continents without a decisive military response. Obama would take us down that path again.

Within the faux reality of the liberal mindset, 9/11 never happened. Can you imagine what the response would be by an Obamination administration to the destruction of a U.S. city by a dirty bomb or a tactical nuke?

Both he, and the DemoRat-dominated Congress, would want to have talks about it, to find out what we did to deserve it....hard, liberal retaliation. Carter/Clinton style, but worse.
