The Al Jazeera host responded by quoting a verse from the Koran in which he thought Jerusalem was mentioned by name, but stopped in the middle upon realizing that it only refers to "the farthest place."

Dr. Kedar: "Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran even once. You can't rewrite the Koran on air on Al Jazeera."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!

It’s called hitting them with their own “weapon” (their “holy” book - Koran).

Yep, all members of the ROP assume that Mohamed’s (midnight) ride into the night involved Jerusalem. No mention in the Koran or anywhere else in early Islamic literature regarding a city or country named Jerusalem. The ROP only became interested in Jerusalem when they found out that it was the Holy city of the Jews.

Isn’t the notion of a Jewish state against Islamic teaching? It is prohibited by Islam?
