My husband was shopping in the store between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. when everyone was told to drop what they were doing and leave. He was in the checkout lines at the time, and he said it took him about 20 minutes to get out of the stores. He said there wasn't a lot of panic, just confusion. He arrived home shortly before 4 p.m. (it takes about 10 minutes to drive from the store to our house). He was late for work, and in shock so I didn't get many details out of him. I just thank God that it looks like this was a "hoax", and that everyone, including my husband is safe and well.

Live coverage on Channel 7 News just reported that the threat was in the woman’s restroom. Not a lot of clear info. coming out.

According to the video available at the link, a note was found in the women’s washroom indicating that there was a bomb in the building.

RIB MOUNTAIN — Some people had their shopping trip cut short in Rib Mountain Wednesday afternoon.

The Wal-Mart store was evacuated after a threatening note was found in the women’s restroom.

Firefighters and police officers searched the building but found nothing suspicious.

Investigators are working with Wal-Mart’s security staff to identify a suspect.

Normally, Newsline 9 does NOT air stories about threats made in schools or businesses but because of the large number of people forced to leave the store we wanted to let you know what happened.
