War On Terror: Barack Obama says he'll do everything in his power "to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon everything." But what he'll really need is force, something in which he has shown little interest.
"The danger from Iran is grave," the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee said Tuesday. "It is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat."
Obama promised Israel supporters, "I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon," then repeated for emphasis: ". . . Everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon everything."
"I will always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself in the United Nations and around the world," he added.

Obama's official foreign policy position, found on his campaign Web site, makes it clear what "everything" means when it comes to Iran. It amounts to "tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions."
