Angelina Jolie has a gun - and she's not afraid to use it.
The pregnant mother of four told the U.K.'s Daily Mail that she owns guns similar to the ones she used in "Tomb Raider." Jolie and partner Brad Pitt are not against having weapons in their house for security reasons, she says.
"If anybody comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I've no problem shooting them," she said.
Jolie, 32, has starred as a heat-packing vixen in several action movies - two "Tomb Raider" films, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and the upcoming futuristic thriller, "Wanted."
"I can handle myself," she said. "There's a side to me that people know is humanitarian, and there's a side to me that's a mommy. But there's also the side that likes to get down and dirty and run and jump around and fire guns."

They must have at least several homes. They have property in New Orleans, so that may explain the guns. You can’t expect to live in NOLA unless you can shoot back.

Steven Spielberg reportedly has a huge gun collection.
He just doesn’t advertise the fact.
She needs to use her influence to stop the Small Arms garbage at the UN. If she really believes this then you need to tell people about the problems with the UN like child rape as well that was reported last week.

Jolie is not your ordinary Hollywood airhead. She has done a lot of work on behalf of refugiees, including going to Iraq and meeting with US military commanders. She came out against a US withdrawal because the resulting chaos would cause a huge refugee problem. I respect celebrities who actully spend a significant portion of their time trying to do something about problems, instead of just shooting their mouths off about what oter people should do.
