Of course "Margaritaville" is everyone's favorite Buffett song but I recently came across a live version of Buffett singing CSNY's "Southern Cross".
That is my new favorite Buffett song.

Did Buffet buy this place or is he just franchising the name to the buyers? I think he’s too smart to blow $316 on a casino in Jersey.

I should have read the whole article. Buffet isn’t buying the real estate. He’s doing a joint venture on the biz under the Margaritville banner.

I like his music a great deal because of its escapist themes, which is what he is really selling. If he had to survive based on his singing and guitar playing abilities, I am afraid Mr. Buffet would starve.

God bless the former altar boy from AL. I wish him the best of luck with this. I don't like his politics but, he most likely wouldn't like mine.
His songs make me smile.

As long as they comp my Cheeseburger.
Cheeseburgers in Paradise are one thing, but I aint paying 14.95 apiece for them at some fancy/shmancy theme restaurant.
(Okay, now I have to go over to youtube and start listening . . . )

Trump never grasped the concept that casinos are not just real estate and his ‘brilliances’ in real estate doesn’t help you run a casino.
Fortunately for the casino, Trump is getting the hell out.
