I'm offended because she is wearing more than a scarf! Come on, Rach, take it off...

Rachel Ray didn’t even pick the scarf out. The commercial’s clothing designer did. And the scarf has freakin paisleys all over it. No self respecting donut loving jihadist terrorist sympathizer wears western paisley scarfs. That’s sooOOooo 1988.
Knee jerking makes for good media though.

Malkin would be the first to mock Palestinians for insta-rage reactions to innocent gestures. She is a dangerous idiot.
Talk about over-reactions. A "dangerous idiot"? Please.
Go read Michelle's actual post before casting aspersions based on a CNN article:

I see Malkin continues to grasp for ways to make herself relevant.
This one's a laugher. Maybe this is from The Onion?

I see a lot of posts here about how Michelle Malkin has gone overboard and is being paranoid, etc. etc. So let's frame this debate in another way: If Rachel Ray wore a burkha in this ad, would people here be calling Michelle Malkin paranoid for objecting to that?
In my opinion, if your answer is that you wouldn't object to Rachel Ray wearing a burkha in a Dunkin' Donuts ad, then you've become far too complacent and apathetic to the creeping Islamization of the West, and thus you are part of the problem we face in fighting off the Islamic threat. If you say that you would object to Rachel Ray wearing a burkha, then I have to ask why you would not object to her wearing the traditional headdress of Palestinians? A burkha is merely an article of clothing, just as the kaffiyeh is. In addition, the kaffiyeh is every bit as symbolic as the burkha. If you object to one, you should object to the other. If you don't object to one, you should not object to the other. However, if you do not object to the burkha becoming an accepted fashion, I question your sanity. Therefore, I would question your sanity if you did not object to the kaffiyeh.
Quite frankly, even if this were a matter of the conservative equivalent of political correctness, that would not bother me. Why? Because political correctness is now one of the biggest influences in our society, both in pop culture and politics. We even set policies which determine our chances for survival based on political correctness (no racial profiling at the airports, for instance). So, why not have political correctness working on our side, for a change?

Why do you need to wear a scarf in short sleeves, when its also obviously springtime (note the blossoming dogwood in the background.) Cover up a hickey?
To: WhistlingPastTheGraveyard
but this is absurd beyond belief. Ain't that the truth!!! FReepers are going to be in deep do-do when the muzzies start wearing tin foil on their heads. Way too many FReepers are already wrapped tightly.

Racheal Ray is cute, but Michelle is cuter. You can't be serious.
I'm also just as shocked that so many people here find Ann Coulter hot. She is not. If you ask me, Coulter and Malkin could both use a couple or three sandwiches.

Good thing Rach did have some lederhosen on. She would have been busted for being a German sympathizer.

I read what Michelle Malkin said and thought she was joking. I think the left picked up on it and blew it up to make us look loonie.

So you like fat chicks. No big deal. Given time, they all put on weight. In 20 years Ann may look like Mama Cass. Enjoy them while they’re thin.

No. But borderline anorexia and being able to count a woman’s ribs doesn’t do anything for me either.

Idiotic. Michelle’s lost it. Anything to get publicity and keep getting hits on her blog.
Anyway, the kaffiyeh’s been around for a while, going through various stages of hipness. This doesn’t even look like a traditional kaffiyeh.
You may have it; Michelle’s jealous.
But masking her jealousy in some cockamamie complaint like this is totally shabby and sleazy.
Now, if they wanted to wrassle, nude or in bikinis, I’d buy tix.

I believe she may well have known what she was doing. Just a few weeks ago I stopped watching all of her programs because she had Rosie O'Donnell on her show. I cannot buy that Ray is such s giddy airhead that she didn't know what O'Donnell has said in the past about 9/11 and even if she was unaware the producer of the show should have rescued her from such a poor choice for a guest.

Why wear one that looks like those worn by our sworn enemies? So let me get this straight. Women can no longer wear:
1. A black and white scarf
2. A red and white scarf
3. A white scarf
All of these are types of "keffiyeh" according to those who think was Rachel Ray wore was a "keffiyeh".
So, a culture that tells women they have to wear certain clothing is now being challenged by a culture that says that women cannot wear certain clothing that even looks like the clothing that might remind people of the culture that tells women they have to wear certain clothing.
Irony would be delicious if we weren't drowning in it.
