Babysit? You mean censor our free expression? Didn't know Kennedy had achieved such high respect and status on FR, if it was Bin Laden who had a seizure from a brain tumor, would we then be allowed to express our 'real' sentiments or would that not be allowed also?

Well I guess they better get used to babysitting, like Savage says Kennedy will probably be in the news until he finally achieves room temperature, but we won't be allowed to talk about it on FR. What an outrage!

The threads were turning ugly quo veritas, real ugly and I’m a Kennedy despiser from way back when but if we want to see FR smeared and defamed the mods were left little choice but to close them.

Seriously though, I'm not going to get too upset about it. Free Republic is someone's property (Jim Robinson) provided as a courtesy much like a restroom at a party. I'm not going to deface it to prove I can use expletives. Our mere presence here says all I need to know about our mutual sentiments about Mr. Kennedy.
