Good grief! The mountain lion has been there before but he is just released to a nearby open space????? What is wrong with hauling him off to some location far away from civilization? That is what they used to do with the nuisance bears in Yellowstone. Of course, this is Boulder where animals have equal rights. I worry about my octogenarian parents who live there.

The nuisance bears in Yellowstone often are dumped in Utah by the DOW .
Then the nuisance bears continue to be nuisance bears breaking into more people’s homes.
The public lands are also full of large adult lions due to hunting restrictions. The lion populations are exploding. There is no more empty open spaces .
Then, either the existing adult male or this teenager will be killed by the other lion.

There are very few places in Colorado that are more than 10 miles from ‘civilization’. This kitty can cover that much ground in a few hours.
