The cooperation agreement reached between prosecutors and an employee of the call-girl ring known as Emperors Club VIP will come in handy should the Manhattan U.S. attorney, Michael Garcia, decide to charge Governor Spitzer with a crime.
The woman, Temeka Rachelle Lewis, 32, who entered a guilty plea to money laundering and prostitution-related charges yesterday, would be a key witness against Mr. Spitzer if the former governor is charged in connection with patronizing an Emperors Club prostitute...
Lewis, who booked clients for the call-girl service, had several phone conversations with Mr. Spitzer to hammer out the logistics of payment and scheduling for his tryst with a prostitute in Washington, D.C., on the eve of Valentines Day...
If they were going to prosecute him, it would be simpler and would present a more compelling case at trial to present her as a witness,...
Lewiss role in Emperors Club involved contact with clients, prostitutes, and the rings organizers. She, among the four charged, is presumed to have the most knowledge of the regularity of Mr. Spitzers trysts, how he paid, and his preferences...
The U.S. attorneys office has given no clear sign about whether it will prosecute Mr. Spitzer. Legal experts say Mr. Spitzer violated federal law when he asked Lewis to send him a prostitute from New York to meet him in Washington.

Client-9
Spitzer found out that he’s going to be paying much more than $5000 to get, well, you know...
Thanks geo.
Ms. Lewis, when did Mr. Elliot Spitzer been using the services of the Emperor's Club?"
Answer 1:
"So Elliot Spitzer was using the services of the Emperor's Club when he was still Attorney General?"
Answer 2:
Then, Ms. Lewis, since Attorney General Spitzer knew of the existence of the Emperor's Club, why did he allow the Emperor's Club to continue operating while he was zealously shutting down the Emperor's Club's competition?"
Answer 3:
This case could make the Boston FBI office's assistance to Whitey Bulger look like a child's tea party.
Look for the feds to nail Spitzer for much more than is obvious to the lamestream media pundits.
The media sure has not followed up on this story much since after the excitement of it breaking. I want to know about the other call girls he bought. Did he boink them on ‘official’ business trips. Did he charge the hotel rooms to his campaign or his expenses? Who in the state police knew this was going on?
ok, why has only client 9 and 6 names been released? Something stinks to high heaven here.
Is the US government supressing the release of this information. Diplomats, Ambassadors, Saudi royalty, etc..... what the hell is going on here???
Protecting the guilty ?
Lucky for Spitzer that he is a democrat.
The media says : nothing to see...move on.
If it were one of us : then breaking news everyday for months.
The enemedia has virtually ignored this since the original splash.
Do you mean to imply that him being a Demorat could have something to do with that? :-)
The thrills he's gonna get are not the thrills he planned on getting.
In the words of the late Sam Kinison, he’ll have to put on a dress and shoes, and dance.
There was no crime? Why did the perp resign?
Yes, I really want to see the Feds drill into “what did he do/know and when did he do/know it?”
There have been various references to Spitzfong utilizing hookers for 10+ years.... don’t know if that’s been substantiated, but IF he was utilizing hookers while AG and shutting down their competition then yes, that raises some more ‘interesting’ issues.
The story of Spitzer's resigning is one of the most gratifying episodes in politics.
When the story broke, Spitz saw the handwriting on the wall. He called the Albany PTB to ask if there was any way he could stay in office.
There was a resounding no from all quarters.
In the end Spitz's reprehensible tactics had alienated virtually all of the political establishment---there was no one left willing to help him.
The Rats do what they do best.
