That doesn’t make any sense.
It's designed to accommodate the hot climate in Somalia ~ it also worked to keep the snow off of her in this climate.
She’s from Iran but is she a Ba’hai or Moslem?
A more accurate one would start with genital mutilation under the guise of female circumcision, being treated worse than livestock, raped because they are out by themselves in a group of less than three, indoctrinated that they have no souls, and treated as fools by boys that are 7 years old and older. Why is it interesting for Americans to want to be muslim? they should watch the movie “ not without my daughter” in a class like that. Fools!
There’s enough head scarves of that type around the it doesn’t raise eyebrows much any more.
The reason people don’t react is because there’s no point. They’ve discovered that any female wearing a head scarf like that is unspeakably rude. They won’t even look at you. The most attention you’d get is the same as the displays they’re avoiding in the aisle; barely a glance. They act as if they’re the only ones around and everyone else is furniture. Very standoffish and aloof.
“Sorry, that’s only one style of burqa. There are others.”
How many of these varied styles of burkhas have you seen in a muslim country?
Muslims who live as minorities follow a slightly different set of principles (in dress and language speifically) compared to muslims in their native/muslim societies. In fact, the Koran advises them to do so in preparation for dar-ul-harb and dar-ul-islam.
“Honor killings occur in Sicily and none of those guys are Moslems. Besides, that was a cultural value around long before Islam anyway.”
You’re supporting honor killings by muslims now? If Islam is the same as other religions (as you seem to imply), then why does Iran have honor killings after the Arab-muslim invasion and didn’t have such a “cultural value” before then?
Creeping islamism is like creeping socialism - once it gets a hold in any society, it becomes very difficult, if not impossible, to loosen this hold.
911 didn’t teach Americans much about Islam, did it?
Seraji said she didn’t worry that Muslims would be offended by the class experiment because the faith encourages its followers to pray in other churches and unite with those of other faiths.
Not in my Quran
Is there no depth of stupidity to which the government-educated dolts will not stoop to?
Religion or not, any woman who would allow a man to dictate what to wear or not wear is a woman begging to be abused. Same goes for this twigs in the fashion industry.
Why are you being soft on the Persians? They were as much into honor killings as the Medes in the same region long before the Arabs figured out how to herd sheep or sleep in tents.
So does this High School have a program studying Christianity or any other religions? Or is islam the onyl religion OK to study?

I assume you mean different styles of hijab. Where I grew up, the most common were the type you see the American girls wearings in this article. You can tell a lot about the person by the way they pin their hijab. For example, a Hezbullah supporter would have one side of the fabric pinned below the opposite ear with the rest of fabric hanging loose in front. The muhajjabah (veiled) women wore a libs shar'i over their clothes, which is a black overcoat. Because of Iranian influence, some wore 'abaya, what is called chador in Iran. It was extremely rare to see women with their faces covered, but I did see a few. They used a dark black cloth that is called a fiish. The most extreme type of hijab I've seen is that of Sana'a, Yemen.
And when worn by the very ugly.
Yea, now after the Muslim cop killer here in Philadelphia dressed as a Muslim woman to hide his identity, I view them with more suspicion than before.
Don’t forget the female genital mutilation while you’re at it.
I did not know the cop killer in Philly was suffering from SJS (Sudden Jihad Syndrome). That didn’t seem to be well represented in the press or even on FR!
She's asking for it.
A slave rag helps hide the bruises, I guess.
