The Obama camp found a Media Group to work with Wright right after this story broke.
IMHO when they realized it couldn’t be spun the way they tried they had him go out and make these statments thereby giving cover to Obama.
Later if Obama wins they kiss and make up, not years but days after.
I’ll be glad to eat crow if I’m wrong. Now that this scandal has hit McCain can beat Obama in the general election.

I actually feel for Obama....not enough to vote for him...but that pastor is just a gigantic repulsive nightmare. It was Wright who has thrown Obama under the bus.
Hillary supporter, Barbara Reynolds brought Wright to the Press Club! This is a Clinton dirty trick.
I think this was a badly handled setup, a clumsy effort to salvage the best from a “lose/lose” situation.
As long as Wright was hung around Obama’s neck like an albatross, Obama was vulnerable. I agree that the theory was to throw Wright overboard to help fool the air head white libs. The problem is that with the working class-whites, the feeling will be “you’re not fooling anyone.” The typical political backpeddaling clearly shows him to be just another political whore.
Barack Hussein Obama has no chance of winning the white working class vote, and with it goes most every major state a democrat must win to be elected President of the United States.
It’s obvious again that Obama has not been honest with the American people. This will sink him in November.

I happen to agree with you. After 20+ years as friends and cohorts, we're supposed to believe Obama is outraged by his mentors comments? I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. The scenario was written as that of a play, designed specifically to create the desired effect. It's got phoniness written all over it. Anybody that thinks this was a sincere reaction from Obama is extremely gullible.

Second of all, the strain of theology that he preached, black liberation theology, can you explain something about the anger and the sentiments, how important a strain is liberation theology and why ...is pure Beautiful Sunshine. The mission statement of TUCC states quite plainly where their allegiances lie - to Africa, not the U.S.

So a lot of people would, rather than using a fancy word like that, simply talk about preaching the social gospel. and that -- there's nothing particularly odd about that.

Instead of being a "great orator" at his press conference, Obama seemed to be stumbling for words and appeared to lose his train of thought.
Without a script, he can't seem to speak from his heart very well.

Obama saying whatever will get elected is old politics not new. This really doesn’t help Obama in any way.
This whole thing is NOT going to play well in Indiana or other flyover territory. Either Obama is racist or saying whatever he has to say to get elected or both.
Let’s hope Obama makes it to the general.
If The Rev. goes away after this, your theory will be supported. If, on the other hand, Wright comes back with statements suggesting that O had been fully aware of all of his "controversial" positions over the years, Obama is further damaged and your theory falls apart.

Did you hear the code words of Rev, Wrong: that obamama needs to say whatever he needs to get elected” Smell the collusion.
That is the permission he is giving obmama – to say whatever he must to get elected.
They’ve hatched a plan: the Rev. Wrong comes out and makes it abundantly clear that he’s an outrageous, American hating racist. Then obamama will come out and ‘condemn’ him = wink-wink = thus putting daylight between him and the Rev.
BUT, it’s not a question of does obamama agree with the Rev, Wrong – condemn him all he wants. He STILL remains committed to the church. THAT is where attention now needs to be turned. What does the church espouse?

Now is the golden opportunity to connect obamama with the church he has stated his continued allegiance too. It’s more than his long friendship with the pastor – it’s the stated tenets of his church which he still clings to.
Let’s point this out to Hannity, Rush et al – Let’s not let this golden egg slip away.

How many times did the Rev. Wrong pound out "Black Liberationists Church " last night? That's your clue about what is afoot across this land.
This whole kerfuffle has given Rev. oh-so-Wrong the national exposure they needed to reach all other Black Liberationists across the country to give them a heads up the time is at hand for the "Quiet Riots" that have been "simmering" in our cities since before the Rodney King riots.
