[Obama] Past crimes and present friendships
The Chicago Tribune ^ | April 27, 2008 | Brenda Kilianski

'The notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn't make much sense.'

Actually, what doesn't make much sense is how an intelligent man such as Barack Obama might not see how a relationship with Bill Ayers does in fact reflect on him and his values. Especially when Ayers' response to his "detestable acts" is simply, "I feel we didn't do enough."

Oh, really?

Of course, one can't blame Obama for being so surprised or offended by a question he probably wasn't expecting. For too long, the media have been complicit in polishing the images of Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Kathy Boudin and the rest of their radical, violent ilk.

My own paper has been equally guilty. The Tribune ran a cover story on Bill Ayers in the Sunday magazine section (coincidentally, the Sunday after 9/11), an article that served as free publicity for his book "Fugitive Days." Later, we profiled Ayers' adopted son Chesa Boudin, Rhodes scholar, social activist and terror apologist. That soft, glowing piece glossed over the reasons Boudin's biological parents, radical activists Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, were incarcerated.

So, really, Obama has every reason to be surprised by the media's attacks on his relationship with Ayers when being a member of the Weather Underground or the Symbionese Liberation Army or the Black Panthers had never seemed that much of a political liability until now.

Bill Ayres is just as radical as he ever was. Here's a photo of his office door at University of Illinois, Chicago. Not something from the past, but the present day. I hope his university is very proud of him:

It seems to me that most of Obama’s friends are criminals or Marxist, or racists. This tells us much about Obama.
Birds of a feather do flock together.

His associations clearly define him to critical thinking Americans. His associates are anti American, criminal, anti military, anti capitalist, anti religion(Christianity) and pretty much dirt bags of the earth. Those are strengths of BHO and not something to tout as a reason to vote him as potus. There is nothing there there.

The most favorable interpretation of Obama’s political and policy positions makes him a Bernie Sanders type of socialist, on the far left of American political life. The tiniest bit of inquiry also shows Obama to be ‘friendly’ (his word) with some of the most depraved domestic terrorists and enemies of freedom in our lifetimes....not to mention racist haters like Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton, who stand not as ‘unifiers’ but as some of the worst ‘dividers’ in our public life today.

Once enough of the public gets to know who Obama really is, despite the best efforts of MSM propaganda to obscure and hide the facts, he should have no chance to be elected President. (note that I said ‘should’ have no chance — who knows what the MSM can try to pull off)

This quote from Obama says it all for me.

"I decided I won't wear that [flag] pin on my chest. Instead, I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great and, hopefully, that will be a testimony to my patriotism," Obama said

IOW, he doesn't think the United States is a great country. We need him [and presumably his buddies Wright and Ayers] to tell us how to achieve greatness in this world.

Note to Obama: I do not hang around domestic terrorists, because they are despicable human beings. So why do you???

and pretty much dirt bags of the earth.

They are attracted to Obama like moths to a flame. Bambi is their chance to truly gain power in the country and do it in according to their long held dreams. First creepy Clinton, then traitor John Kerry, now revolutionary Barry...time to dump these creeps into the trash bin of history.

It seems like Bill Ayers is an embodiment of the rebellious evil of the 60s. Obama is a fool for associating with him. I hope that somebody can verify the following about Obama and Ayers.
"As an Illinois state senator in 2001, Mr. Obama accepted a $200 contribution from William Ayers, a founding member of the group that bombed the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon during the 1970s."--New York Sun

These 60's retreads want control of this country in the worst way. What is sad is while the youth of the 60's may be antiquated we have produced a current crop of youth who are ill informed and lacking in any sense of personal responsibility.

Troubling times are ahead for our childrens children.

The Art of Politics ["Obey Obama"]

Shepard Fairey, the artist who designed the official fund-raising set of Obama posters, like this one:

Fairey has a company ("Obey") that produces his own artwork, such as these.

The people of Illinois are good people. It was a fluke that they elected BO to the U. S. Senate - the baggage-laden candidate of the Daley machine in Chicago. I wonder how long it will take for them to get buyers’ remorse. They will have a chance to demonstrate it in November.
