Jill Stanek: Abortion as art sport
WorldNetDaily ^ | 4/23/08 | Jill Stanek

In search of taboos to breach for breach's sake, the liberal artistic community is finally dredging the bottom of the barrel: abortion.

Interesting that it took them longer to mock abortion than crucifixes.

You likely missed the comedy video sketch Damon Wayans of WayoutTV.com posted last week called "AbortionMan." So I'll describe it for you, or you can view it at YouTube..

In "AbortionMan" a young woman calls her boyfriend to tell him she's pregnant. He feigns happiness while muttering under his breath, "You gotta get rid of that sh--." Relieved and happy he's happy, she hangs up the phone to make the pending birth announcement to friends and family.

So far, so real. Scores of men in this world exploit women for sex with no sense of love or responsibility. Scores of mothers in crisis pregnancies find themselves pathetically vulnerable to the whims of the father.

But the sleazy guy hangs up the phone and calls for AbortionMan to rescue him from the plight of progeny.

Wearing a white suit and black cape, with a line through a circled black baby on his chest, AbortionMan immediately flies off to destroy the bothersome baby, shouting, "I have you now, fiend!" when spotting the young mother.

Pro-aborts maintain abortion does not kill children and is completely safe. These incidents make it nearly impossible to maintain the party line.

It forces them to see that their "sacrament" is totally devoid of reason or humanity.

These worthless damn “people” are beneath contempt. It makes you wish their parents had aborted them in the first trimester.

When our society views helpless life with such little regard it is a clear indication (to me at least) that we are irrecovably lost as a society. I am waiting for the other shoe to drop when, in disgust, God pulls the plug on this failed social experiment. Given the sad state of this planet I don’t feel that day is far off.

Abortion as comedy, vs Abortion as Art as in my town of good ol’ New Haven ?

Clowns on the left of me, jokers to the right.

Also, Someone should perhaps point out that Wayan’s unitard has a black baby on it.

Years ago I heard the head of Planned Parenthood say on an NPR show, “Having an abortion is not very difficult. Have you ever had a hangnail?” So much for Liberal humanism.

They would have us believe that a woman should put no more thought into an abortion than she would into changing her hairstyle and perhaps not as much.

The Damon Wayans piece sounds like it could actually be a pro-life argument in disguise, since it shows abortion as something that sleazy men want, not women, which is actually fairly accurate (men poll more pro-abortion than women do).

However they meant the vid, I agree that it actually comes off making abortion and the men who push it on their “girlfriends” very ugly in the popular mind.

Sometimes an offensive message isn’t a bad one. NARAL and other pro-abortionists will certainly not approve of this skit, and if it is as described — I didn’t click on the link —I think it will open up the eyes of a whole lot of young women (and men) to what abortion really is.
