More Evidence Points to Obama Delegate as Fraudulent Polygamy Tipster
JAWA ^ | 4/19/08 | staff

More evidence suggesting that Rozita Swinton made the phone call that led to the Texas Polygamy cult raid. Most likely this is the same Rozita E. Swinton who is a Barack Obama delegate from Colorado Springs.

McCain has an update and links this Houston Chronicle piece:

The Rangers are "actively pursuing Rozita Swinton as a person of interest regarding telephone calls placed to a crisis center hotline in San Angelo," the DPS said....

"In her little baby voice, she said, 'If you rescue me, and I get out of here, do you think the black people will hurt me?' " Walker said. "She had done her homework. She knew it was a racist cult. We know that these kids are very frightened of black people.

"The Texas Rangers told us she was obsessed with the FLDS. They confiscated tons of material on the FLDS (in the search of Swinton's home). She even gave real addresses and real names of FLDS people."

Hence, how Swinton would be able to "identify" the man who "Sarah" was allegedly married to, but didn't know that Dale Evans Barlow, the man originally pegged as the "50 year old husband", didn't actually live in Texas, but in Arizona.

Check out the rest of McCain's post for his take on the race angle.

But there's more:

“There is no verbage or terminology used that leads me to believe the statements were made by someone inside,” said Ezra Draper of Hildale, Utah, who left the FLDS sect six years ago. “I think it’s bunk.”

Examples: The term FLDS use to describe other people is “gentiles,” not outsiders, and they don’t observe such holidays as Easter Sunday, when the alleged victim claimed she was last beaten.

Susan Risdon, the crisis shelter spokeswoman, said the calls to the shelter were not recorded but that the two employees who spoke with the girl wrote down what she said.

“I think it’s the exact language,” Risdon said.

He points out that only the most worthy among the FLDS were called to live at the ranch. Those “FLDS wouldn’t have tolerated any abuse like that [the girl’s broken ribs] within their society,” he says.

Draper also wonders how the girl knew to call the shelter, given the isolation and control that authorities say those at the ranch experienced.

This entire story has stunk to high-heaven from the git go.

I found a link to a story on this:
Springs woman arrested for false reporting in raid

A Colorado Springs woman was arrested on charges of false reporting to authorities and is being investigated for her alleged involvement in the call that tipped authorities off to possible abuse at the Texas polygamist compound.

Police say they arrested 33-year-old Rozita Swinton at her home on Wednesday. The Texas Rangers were in Colorado Springs apparently as part of their investigation involving the compound in Texas.

They left and have not filed any charges on Swinton and the Colorado Springs Police spokesman said he could not discuss any aspects of the Texas case.

Our sister station KMGH in Denver found out that this is not the first time Swinton has been arrested on charges of making false reports to authorities. According to records the charge against Swinton was made in connection to calls received by police in February

This was a day or so ago. Do you have a source reporting that the woman has NOW been arrested for making a false report on the FLDS?

Polygamy has been outlawed since the 1860s

Other way around, the slaves will be freed no matter how hard their masters beat them.

The second warrant was based on knowledge the investigators acquired observing pregnant minors.

Remember, even if every last piece of evidence were to be ruled inadmissible, when the little 13 year old pregnant girls ran squealing from the shelter to greet their 50 year old husbands, the cat would be out of the bag all over again.

You'd best go along with the good people on this one lest we start thinking of you'all as perverts or something.

If you caught that rerun of the Larry King sponsored interview with the ol'gal at the F(lds) camp in Texas you might have noticed she had her very own laptop computer.

I 'spect we've talked to her on some of these threads.

Some of the wimmin folk around here (yup, got my own bunch of 'em Fur Shur) noticed that her hair was braided so nicely that she must have had the help of several other women.

The lower caste ladies just pushed their hair up in buns.

It's all same thing with these polygamist operations whether you're talking about Indonesia, Saudi, Thailand, Ottoman Empire, 1500's Sweden, the Golden Horde ~ ain't anything new.

Really don't understand why the polygamists think they are invisible to the rest of us and that we don't really know what they're up to.

Ummm, actually no. Polygamy has never been legal in any US state or territory going back to colonial times, and back into English legal history.

In Western nations polygamy has been illegal since Roman times.

Yes....the other women were called “concubines.” Roman law said that a concubine had to be at least 12.

The children need to be returned to their mothers. The governor of Texas needs to issue an apology. Rozita Swinton needs to be locked up. The CPS secret police need to be disbanded.

I would propose a different solution in those cases where the laws on statutory rape or welfare fraud are proved..

Return the children to their Mothers — but arrest every male guilty of statutory rape, welfare fraud, bigamy, sexual assault or any other damned crime they've committed and lock THEIR asses up with “Bo” the 350 pound homicidal psychopath with a hankering for men..... Let's see how THEY like being used for the sexual pleasure of OTHERS.

Then - I want liens placed on all the property to recover all the welfare dollars sent out to all those unwed mothers who “really” have unidentifiable sperm donor “husbands”.....

Correct, unless you are a Mooslimb, then you can even get out of a speeding ticket so that you can visit multiple spouses and can collect welfare payments for each spouse.

I wonder when any LEA will get around to investigate the number of Moozies who have multiple wives here in the good ol U. S. of A???
